Visited this barbecue joint and it was a delight! The ribs were tender, the ambiance was rustic, and the staff were so welcoming.

Our food was great. The gentleman who served us needs to work on customer service. He made us feel rushed and didn't ask us how our food was. He must of had a disagreement with a coworker. We were not impressed. Next time we will ask for a different server.

I just think the sauces should be in smaller containers and only given if requested because the pic shows what was left after use. My 3 yr old dosen eat from very many restaurants but she loved Montana's.

So my native wife and I went to this establishment for dinner this evening, place was only 1/3 full for seating. We were told all tables were reserved already!! Asked for mgr. Young fella comes out says some were amd he says sorry for that but we can sit in the lounge. We were hungry from a long road trip so we said sure. (Can’t help but to think was cause of my wife’s heritage) but anyways. Our server was just preoccupied with who knows what, so moving forward. I order the large rack of ribs ($31) they came and were dryer than dust!!!!! Mentioned to her and she shrugged it off like it was nothing!!! Thos is the very last time I eat here!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! I advise all travellers and all alike STAY AWAY FROM THIS RESTAURANT!!!

First time I had to send something back but the server was fabulous. She reassured us it was not a big deal to have to send it back and that the cooks are fine when you have to do that.Parking: Everything is always great and we thoroughly enjoy ourselves every time.Kid-friendliness: We haven’t got kids but they seem to enjoy it. Especially drawing on the table. Haha

It was very good.My daughter's shared a ribs and wings meal and they split the meal up in the kitchen. That was very nice and thoughtful.The ribs were very tasty and the garnishes were a nice touch. I did not think I would like corn bread but this went well with the rib meal I had.The beans were also a good touch.The Montana sized pint was good as well and a nice selection of local and other BC craft beer on tap.My daughters liked the server and how he checked in on us every so often they left him a note on the paper table cover.I will definitely go again next time I am in Prince George.

Cece was a fantastic server. The food portions have improved and we both felt like we got a great meal. Very impressive!
Waitress was very attentive and courteous. 10oz Sirloin steak cooked properly...but tough as nails. Pork ribs had no smoke ring and also tough. Baked beans had a weird taste that no other bbq place has...I did not like them. Way below average food.

Omfg ,Kamille suggested I try the beef rib.i substituted this with the half rack on the platter with the wings and coleslaw. Had fries and cornbread. Washed it all down with a double iced tea,and a 2 oz shot of the captain.had to give a 20% tip.
