I just wanted to share with everyone my favourite spot for studying in Richmond. This place has been my go-to for the past year and I absolutely love the ambiance and the selection of drinkson their menu. They do carry egg waffles, and the freshly made waffles have just the right amount of crunch to satisfy my cravings. What I love most about this place, though, is how friendly and welcoming the staff are. They're always happy to chat and after a few visits, they know my favorites without me saying it, which makes the whole experience even better. Plus, the noise level is always at a tolerable level, so you can focus on your work without any distractions. There are plenty of electrical plug-ins available for those who need to work on their laptops or iPads. Just keep in mind that some seats don't have this feature, so you might want to check before settling in.Be aware that the cafe does get pretty busy on weekends, so plan your visit accordingly to avoid the crowds. I hope this helps you find your new favourite study spot!

Updated on 2024.03Last time I wanted to order the most classic No. 1 (Four Seasons Spring with Zhenbo Coconut), but the previous customer ordered away the last cup. This time I wanted to give it a try and see if it feels the same! The result...disappointing Four seasons spring tea is good. but! The pearls and boba are obviously not fresh and taste a bit tough. The manager may need to do some quality control...According to my previous experience of working in a milk shop, these are definitely pearls that have been left out all morning Usually we will make another batch every few hours to maintain the freshness of the pearls, and throw away the old pearls after a few hours to maintain quality control. The bosses will all tell me: Don’t think it’s bad if your customers can’t eat it! There is really a difference Of course, I won’t stop patronizing it because of this, but I hope that the quality control can be maintained well so that Canadians can drink the most authentic Taiwanese milk ?——————2024.03I loved 50 Lan so much in Taiwan (it was my childhood?). I didn’t expect that they changed the name of their branch in Canada. I just realized it now. I happily went to order my favorite ✨Golden Oolong Latte + Pearl✨ in Taiwan.result! ! ! Exactly the same???The taste is exactly the same???I was so moved that I almost criedThe pearls are also cooked just right. The quality is indeed guaranteed. Woohoo.Big recommendation! ! !

I got a strawberry smoothie with pearls (the smaller tapioca - cool that they have two sizes) a grapefruit yakult with grass jelly, and a red bean egg waffle. I enjoyed the strawberry smoothie and waffle in the shop and took the grapefruit yakult home for later. I got the smoothie at 30% sweet which is the minimum, and it was still a little sweet but also very tangy. I loved the cream cap, which mixed in at the end to give the drink a classic strawberries and cream taste and also mellowed out the tartness. The small pearls were fun - they had a different mouthfeel than full-size boba but were still perfectly chewy. The grapefruit yakult was very refreshing - it tasted like fresh juice. Lots of jelly, which was a good match with the grapefruit. Again I got this at 30% sweet, which I liked, as even at a lower sugar level, I didn’t find the grapefruit to be overly bitter. The red bean waffle was very good! The waffle batter had a pleasantly eggy taste and each bubble was super soft in the middle. The "crust" was just crispy enough. Lots of red beans. This shop has a lot of seating and a very nice aesthetic, so you can hang out here and enjoy your drinks and waffles. The staff was friendly. They were having trouble with the waffle iron so my waffle took a while, but it came out just as I was about to go up to ask about it and they were apologetic. They definitely left me with a good impression. This location isn’t actually in a convenient location for me, but they have lots of locations in the Vancouver area, and I’d be inclined to check out their other locations based on my experience here!

Ordered four season tea with grass jelly topping.. but received grass jelly with a bit of tea. Here is a pic of the grass jelly after I poured the tea into a separate cup. For those who like extra topping this place is great but for those who prefer a bit of a balance better to ask for "less topping"

I’ve been here 5 times now but today I was pretty upset. I decided to treat my kid for some bbt and I pre ordered it in advanced online because I was in a hurry. It said 15 mins for pick up. After waiting 15 mins, I went inside and there was a big group in front of us which is fine - I waited till the cashier took their order to ask her for my order. I even smiled at her at two different occasions and she didn’t smile back. I told her I was there for pick up but my order wasn’t ready yet and she was unaware of my order as it had not been processed yet. She told me it’ll be a couple mins but 20 mins passed by. THEN she asks me again, if I’m waiting for something ??? she then tells me that the pearls are sold out and I can switch to boba instead. At this point I’m super annoyed as I’ve had to wait 35 mins for two drinks that I pre ordered, no apology either. The girl making the drink was more friendly though. She came and apologized multiple times for the wait.Okay, I get sometimes mistakes happen and perhaps the cashier forgot to keep up with the online orders and didn’t process mine but honsstly I feel like if they didn’t see my order but they knew I ordered it ahead of time, they should’ve started making it right away instead of putting my order at the next queue and having me wait - especially when there wss a group of 10 people that put their order in after. I ordered my drinks in advance but you tell me 35 mins later that the topping I wanted is sold out … i started coming here because it’s close to us now but this experience really sucked.

I'm a regular customer, always do takeouts to enjoy sipping on boba at home with family. My experience on Mar 7 around 5pm, lady at the counter had bad attitude and borderline rude when asked for choice. I was in two minds to cancel and leave but I promised my kid her boba. The owner should focus more on training staff to serve customers well. I'll think twice now about coming here especially when I have to tip for such bad service, maybe just do 0 next time!!!

The boba and tapioca is delicious, the place is very clean, but I found the lady working at the register very rude, she just had an attitude and was not very nice to customers. Overall 3/5

I ordered milk tea. It didn’t have the tea flavor and tasted strange. I don’t know why it received so many good reviews.

Feb 27th. 2024. 3:00 pm. I went to the alderbridge location and placed an order at the front desk. The staff approached me. And asked what I need to order. Her tone was so rude. Also her attitude was so bad as well. It made me quite upset about her If wasn’t my friends holding me back. I was seriously about to walk out. I think the owner should consider having a serious talk with his own staff. (I thought the store was all about service.)

I personally ordered the classic milk tea and felt that it wasn't too sweet and felt balanced. My only recommendation would be to not get the smaller pearls because they were just a weird consistency :/ I tried 3 other drinks and I'd say that the fruit teas have a little bit of an edge compared to the milk teas.

In search of good boba, I came across this place after seeing positive reviews. The area is pretty spacious and staff were generally fast. The passionfruit flavors appear to be the most popular item around but sadly it was all sold out. I went for the strawberry black tea. The strawberries in there tasted a bit preserved and not fresh, almost a bit artificial. Not the flavor profile I was expecting unfortunately. Perhaps next time I'll have a better experience if I can get a better flavor.
