Jamoneria by ARC is the best Spanish restaurant and best Spanish store in the Lower Mainland. We love the restaurant food, the conservas, the Jamon Iberico, and the Spanish almonds.

Service was friendly and food/drinks came out promptly. We loved the white sangria and charcuterie items we ordered it was delicious however the octopus, shrimp, and cheese plate we received the portion was very small for what we anticipated to pay. The location makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere which isn't a bad thing to me it's a quiet spot so great for catching up one on one with friends or even to have a date night. Quality of charcuterie items are excellent but I do hope the restaurant can work on their portion sizes for everything else. Prices are expensive.

don't expect a fancy restaraunt It's in an upstairs room above a whatehouse. The staff was great and friendly. English may not have been their first language but it was part of the ambiance. The food was very good we relaxed and had several tapas etc over a couple hours . It was relaxing and the food was amazing.

In the past, Jamoneria by ARC had Spanish steak on their menu. It was fantastic. It is no longer on their menu, but we asked if they could make one for us. The chef came to our table, talked to us personally, and gave us multiple choices! We ended up getting a steak and a tomahawk pork chop. Wow! That's incredible service. The steak was fantastic but the tomahawk pork chop stole the show. It was incredibly tender and the garlic, artichoke, and pepper accompaniments were perfect. ARC is the best Spanish restaurant in the Vancouver area. We keep coming back.

This Spanish restaurant was an excellent find. Although located in an industrial area, the food is superb.

Jamoneria by ARC is the best Spanish restaurant in the region. The ingredients and the cooking are authentically Spanish. You can tell because it sells Spanish meats, snacks, and canned seafood in its store and everyone who works there is Spanish. At our last dinner, we asked if there was any steak available. There wasn't, but the chef made a loin, special for us. It was delicious and we really appreciated the extra effort. There were also two daily specials at our last dinner: one was tuna and onions and the other was a white bean, chorizo, and bone-broth soup. All were fantastic. Jamoneria by ARC is one of our favourite restaurants.

Food: authenticService: authenticAtmosphere: charmingThe place: Wasn't sure what to expect. Knew the area from 25 years ago when my friends and I would drag race along Hammersmith Way in the wee hours of the a.m. - it's an industrial zone. Pleasantly surprised. Loved the set up, off the beaten path, an oasis. I dig it. Very interesting change of pace. The food: It's impossible to leave without practically duplicating your tapas style meal in take away ham, olives etc. Presentation of the pre-prepared food was obviously a lot better than I could do at home where I would rip ham out of the packages and put them in awkward piles on a nice cutting board. Of course it's perfect at Jamoneria. The cooked food; we had the (meat in between the) pork ribs. A simple looking dish, but delicious. Suitable for 4 I'd say. We had their spreadable chorizo, on bread, with a bit of blue cheese and honey. I'm not a fancy guy, I never eat blue cheese on purpose. But this was outstanding.Service: authentically Spanish - kind, chill, honest, fun, efficient

Our experience at Jamoneria was extremely poor. Firstly, we had to pre-pay for the dine-out Vancouver menu and pay the gratuity fee without even being served yet. That is just outrageous! For $60 a person, we would anticipate that there would be enough food to fill our stomachs. However, after eating our meal, we had to go to McDonald's to fill up our hungry tummies. The food itself was very average in terms of taste and it did not taste like authentic Spanish food. The Iberico ham was particularly disappointing, and the cheesecake was smaller than the palms of our hands. We felt like we were in a fake backyard patio which was a huge detriment to the experience. I highly recommend avoiding the dine-out menu at all costs!

Came by mid week for Dine Out Vancouver. It is in an industrial area behind Ironwood Plaza...kind of in the middle of nowhere. There is a retail store on the main level and seating for what they consider to be a restaurant on the 2nd level where they also have work offices. There were no windows for the restaurant and the washroom was by the retail space on the main level. This is a $60 per person Dine Out menu and was expecting a little more in terms of set up and ambiance. The Dine Out menu had five courses with options for each. This is a tapas type establishment and understanding it would be small plates. First up was an anchovy and avocado, followed by thinly sliced ham. Both were nice with a glass of red in hand. This was followed by the garlic shrimp....very small shrimp. Then onto the main where we sampled pork ribs and also boneless rib meat. Both were cooked nicely. The final course was cheesecake. A nice ending to the meal. While I appreciate the effort to put out five courses in a small establishment, we have no plans to return.

Extremely disappointed - I would not recommend this place to anyone. The quality of the food is not bad, but certainly not great, either. I have been to tons of Spanish tapa places, especially in California, where I used to live. Every single one of them is not only cheaper but also better. The food at Jamoneria by ARC is not worth the price. Their cocktail menu is also really boring. Their wine list is slightly better than their cocktail menu but still very subpar, especially for the price they are charging. I had 2 different female servers throughout my time there. I asked the 1st one whether I could request a very easy to make, classic cocktail. She said she was told to stick to the menu. I tried the same request with the 2nd server, who agreed that my request was easy to meet and delivered, hence my positive review on their service. Their dining furniture is pretty much all from IKEA. It's just a bunch of patio seating sets they put indoor. The chairs are not comfortable at all and not to mention cheap. Would never go back, nor would I recommend this place to anyone I know. Downright rip-off.

Recommend. A good company that cares about its reputation. In my opinion, it's very important criteria for any business.
