“Do not be deterred by the location of this place. The decor of this restaurant is STUNNING. Some of the photos on google are not the same place. It says tandoor king cafe, must have changed so don’t be confused with the old look/name! Our table of food was gorgeously displayed right down to the cutlery. The food was amazing. I’d go here for lunch, take my family, and even encourage anyone to dress fancy and take a date here, the night lighting is nice, a special place. STUNNING restaurant and delicious! Feels rich but affordable and friendly service. I’m in love with Tandoori King. Not from Vancouver area but want to go here next time we are in town.“

“One of the best brunch places in Richmond. I ordered the crab meat eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was good and all but the star of the dish would be the potatoes. I have never had a restaurant season their potatoes as much as this place and it was perfect.I would highly recommend trying out this restaurant for their Benedict’s! Also the interior is also really modern and cute. Overall great restaurant!“
“First time here and got their blue ribbon lunch special ($12). It was fish and chips and the portion was quite big for lunch so I was pretty satisfied with that. The fish was crispy which is exactly how I like it :) I was pleasantly surprised and would consider coming back here again!“
“I organized a dinner for our lacrosse tournament last week and pre-ordered food for 41 of us. Have to say the staff went above and beyond to have everything ready for us and it went so smoothly! I've organized team dinners before over the years but this was the best by far and I commend the staff for their organization, timeliness & the food exceeded expectations! “Good view, decent prices, decent options.We were seated quickly which is great, however, it was very clear that this was the first nice long weekend of the year and the staff were either under prepared or management dropped the ball and hasn't hired and trained a suitable amount of staff for the incoming busy tourist season.Honestly I would come back for sure, I just hope that the staffing levels improve by then.“
“Great authentic Chinese BBQ. Good spot for casual gathering or family dine out with kids.Service was amazing. Our server asked us if we have any food allergies and took her time to explain which dishes are non-spicpy for the kids. She even offered to remove the seasonings so it won't be spicy at all. We visited on a week day at dinner time, it wasn't busy. The server attended to our table frequently.Food is good. The seasonings are very tasty. You don't have to order the expensive meat options like Wagyu, the regular beef is much worth the price. Food portions are bigger than other similar places. Drinks are a bit pricy. Would definitely go back.“
“This place didn't look like much from the outside and I had low-ish expectations. It blew those expectations out of the water... My dad who is very picky really enjoyed his time here as well.Food tasted high quality and fresh.I tried the breakfast bowl and my dad had the pesto prawn pizza - a strange choice but I tried it, yum.Looking forward to trying this place again next time I'm in the area“
