Whenever I come to Vancouver I need to stop by Cherry to get some rice cakes. Better than the ones that I can get from Hong Kong and I love the original and black sesame flavors. This time they already have the radish and taro cakes available for Chinese New Year so I bought them. There are so many radishes and not full of rice powder. It is so tasty. The staff is always quick and provides impeccable service for a little stall in Parker Place. This is why I love going to Richmond because it is never too far away from HK.

I didn’t expect it to be so sweet.

I don’t know about the drinks, but the 缽仔糕 is amazing. Been eating them for years. Look for a tray by the cash register containing a variety of flavours ❤️

Sibao ice is unpretentious and delicious? The taro is quite pink, and the size is just right. It tastes great when soaked in sugar water. Recommended! The pudding and strawberries are not very sweet and just neutralize the mung beans and taro, and the sweetness is just right with the tasteless ice below. The price of 6.75 per person is super satisfying

Fresh ingredients and no fuss service. Better know what you want or they will tell you what you should get.

The BEST place for Chinese desserts. Friendly service, affordable prices and generous portions. Also, their durian mochi is uniquely amazing.

The house special has lots of ingredients in it which is nice. Good red bean and fresh soft tofu. Nice chewy mochi. Very sweet at first but once you stir the tofu it’s just right. The sticky rice could have been softer and moister. Overall good but average asian style desserts.

This is a very good place, but it's just a bit too sweet for me. Since it's a food court there's no atomosphere. But the lady is very nice. Her steamed rice cakes are awesome!Food: 4/5Price: $Come back rate: when I have time

The Taiwanese in me will always pick @icybar as my favourite dessert place. The chewy mochi and the shaved ice just hit the perfect spot every single time. I always choose multiple chewy toppings each time. Love the availability in customizing my dessert too.

When we tried to talk to them by the counter, they did not greet us or look at us; one of them continued to face the wall and the other one continued to work at the counter. They could have acknowledged our presence. The female server only turned her head a little from the wall and asked me if it was for here or to-go when I said we wanted the 'eight treasures shaved ice'. I did not know if I should order more because they were unfriendly. When I told her I wanted the tofu pudding, she asked me if I want it to be in a cup or in a bowl. This was surprising because tofu pudding usually comes in a bowl. I told her I want it in a bowl and she asked me do I want any toppings and I said no. Then she said, "No toppings for the tofu pudding and you still want it in a bowl." I did not know why she said that because it did not make sense. Maybe she was mad that I did not get any toppings so they could not profit more. Then she asked me what kind of sugar I wanted. I said, "Brown sugar" and she ignored me. Then she asked me again. I repeated and she squeezed the sugar syrup bottle onto the tofu pudding. They should put the sugar syrup in a separate container for customers or at least ask if customers want the sugar syrup in the tofu pudding. She asked me if I wanted a plastic bag and I said yes. Then she said it would cost and she went to key-in the price at the till without waiting for me to respond. Then why bothered to ask?In regards to the food, the toppings from the 'eight treasures' all had bits of other toppings stuck to it. Also, the shaved ice was only on the top; the ice underneath was crushed ice. Moreover, the tofu pudding was disintegrated (instead of whole piece), and the brown sugar syrup was so diluted that you could barely tasted it. The black sesame pudding cake also had other food stuck to it as well.Their quality of the food and service were inferior and they had increased the price.
