Cherry's place is one of my favourite Korean spots. I have grown up with Korean friends and neighbour's who make amazing side dishes and this is so close to it! They're side dishes are refillable( PLEASE do not change this, this is how it is in Korea and I miss it!) The prices are reasonable for this area.My go to is always the Haemul sundubu-jjigae, Sweet and spicy KFC, seafood pancake, and their pan fried mackerel is amazing as well.The only thing that would make this a complete 5 star is if they offer gimbap! Occasionally I have this craving and I am certain they will do it justice.

Placed an order online only to arrive at the restaurant and find that it wasn't even open!
Decent food but it’s a bit off from the traditional Korean taste. We ordered a small beef short rib hot pot, corn cheese, and kimchi pancake to share. I’d say the best was the pancake, which was super crispy (though pretty light on the kimchi flavor). The corn cheese could have definitely used more cheese, but we were the most disappointed by the beef rib hotpot. We couldn’t pinpoint what it was, but it lacked an element of authentic Korean taste in the broth , and ultimately ended up tasting more like a Chinese style bone soup. Banchan/ side dishes were also just okay, though I was disappointed by the mushy rice provided. Overall portions were great value though, if you’re looking to get full. While nothing was decidedly bad-tasting, just manage your expectations going in as their food may be their own take on your favourite Korean dishes.Also fyi cash /debit only unfortunately.

My roommate and I are not from the area and were super tired and hungry after the concert we had just gone to (it was around midnight). Super cozy atmosphere, ordering online was a liiiittle weird but we figured it out. This was my first Korean restaurant experience, and it did not disappoint! The potato banchan was incredible. I got the beef short rib soup, and I swear it could cure any ailment. We also shared the seafood pancake which was super good too. Roommate got a hot stone rice bowl and she loved it. Insanely grateful they were open as late as they were. Will absolutely have to come back again when we’re in the area. ^^

I ordered hot stone rice, fried chicken, black bean noodles, and so on, which were great and delicious. Also provided lots of side dishes with the meal. sundubu jiegae is NOT this color. i am only tasting bland pepper soup. seems like fish broth was omitted? and the seafood pancake was disappointing too... i can air fry my own imitation crab and call it a pancake. otherwise good portions, but who can eat much of it when it doesn't taste good? my experience ordering from the aberdeen location was more authentic...
