The taste was ok.But wasn't the amount of shrimp too little? For my spicy pot, the basic side dish has no potatoes or vegetables, only nine shrimp....I need to order vegetables additionally.....

I've finally made it to Dharma Garden!! I couldn't make it here in the past as they were so busy when they first opened and that I have moved and didn't have time to come visit. So recently, I came to lunch here with a fellow Yelper and we're pleased we ate here on a weekend! I ordered a small rice noodle pho (mmm!) and shared a few bites of my friend's appys. But before our dishes came, I had a few sips of the tea and thought that it was probably the best tea I've ever had! It was sweet like a dessert, flavourful and not like any other tea, but at the same time, I've tasted something like this before!! Turns out, it was Pandan Tea!! I loooove Pandan so much! That's what it was!! I loved it so much that I have asked if they offer it to customers. Haha and yes they do! They come in a big package for $15. Yup, I got it! Now I can enjoy it every morning! It was a strong green tea taste and the caffeine level is very high. The Rice Noodle Pho was so yummy! Everything is vegetarian and it was amazing. It was so hearty during a cold weather and the rice noodles were delicious. Great staff and clean dining area. I'll come back again!

This is a spot that serves spicy dry pot - I would recommend going for the medium spice level if you enjoy eating spicy food, but don't want to endure a painful experience. A small restaurant in a bit of a hidden location, I think that they serve a unique dish where you get to pick and choose a base meat for the dry pot and select different toppings to add to it - probably a better spot for a group meal if you want to try a lot of different toppings. Between this restaurant and Chef Pin (similar style restaurant in East Vancouver), I do prefer this one as it's a bit quieter and serves a larger portion. Spicy Short Rib Pot (4/5) - $25 + ~$5-10 per topping Taste: We added tongho (minty vegetable), pig intestine, pig kidney and wide potato noodles to this dish. There were a lot of short ribs (which made sense as that was the base), though I do wish that the ribs had a bit more meat to them as there was a lot of bone. I LOVED our selection of toppings though and for those who love to eat innards, this spot has really good variety. I highly recommend the wide potato noodles as they have a nice chewy texture that is a good balance to the meat. Portion Size: Good for 2-3 people. [Value for Money] Overall, I would say that this spot is in fact on the pricier side for what you are actually eating, though comparable to hotpot restaurants as well. Expect to pay around $50-60 for 2 people and I would definitely only recommend this spot to those who enjoy eating spice.

Absolutely the BEST vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to. The savoury pancake and spicy noodle soup was perfectly balanced, heart-warming and fresh. Fantastic service and ambiance as well. Very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. I can't wait to bring my family here.

I heard rave reviews about this place so I naturally have higher expectations. I do enjoy vegetarian food once in a while and since it was a nice day, I took my in-laws here for lunch today. We arrived at 11:45am and was seated immediately. I wasn't sure if the male server spoke any Cantonese so we ordered in English. First off, their cutleries were dirty. I had to send back two spoons. We ordered bun rieu, bun bo hue, spring rolls and rice with shredded pork. The spring rolls were alright. I like how they put in taro. The two soup noodles were very average. The broth tasted bland and the rice dish was a flop. The fake "pork chop" was so chewy and the "shredded pork" was tasteless. I also noticed that the same server spoke Cantonese to another patrons but I'm very confused how come he didn't speak Canto to us. Anyway, I'm sorry but not a fan of this place. Food was not good, service was below average.

They're usually super busy and the plaza is usually packed with limited parking. It was my first time dining out in 2 months since covid19, so I was super excited to be out and dining here for the first time! They had hand sanitizers available right when you walked in, and we were seated on the opposite side of the room from another patron. My fiance and I ordered #20 (bun hue), #21 (bun rieu), spring rolls, and iced coffees with condensed milk. The noodle soups were SO SO SO GOOD. We didn't miss the meat at all and we normally have meat with every meal. The tomato soup was delicious and did not feel like it was made from any artificial flavouring. So much unami. The spring rolls were very crispy. They were filled with lots of veggies and taro(?). It was yummy. I'm not a big fan of pork or taro but I loved these so much. I'll definitely be back!

All vegetarian!! Don't let the name throw you off I got #50 (first pic) and the portion was huge! Really worth the price (~$14). I had such a hard time choosing what to get because their menu offered so many different things! Vietnamese cuisine is one of my favourite culture of foods and I'm so happy that I found a place that caters to my dietary preferences! Interior was clean and group-friendly. The story behind the restaurant and its ongoing initiative is heartwarming Too bad they're closed during this period of time otherwise I would totally be getting take up from Dharma everyday
