Like the majority of other 5 star reviews, I completely agree. Grains Fish Noodle serves a perfect bowl of delicious fish noodle soup that's not too salty, healthy, delicious, hearty, and with such creaminess and depth of flavour. No complaints! Tried the original fish jaw soup and it was very tasty. All the flavours of their multigrain noodle soups I have tried are excellent.

Came by for a cozy bowl of noodles and that's What I got. I tried out the hot and spicy noodles which was filled with noodles, fish, noodles and veggies. The soup was pretty tasty with some numbing from the heat. However I felt really thirsty from all the msg in the soup upon leaving so that's my only complaint

Decent little cafe. Ok food. Language barrier so I didn’t quite get what I had ordered. Asked for green tea and got a milk tea (still drank it) and ordered rice bowl with beef, pork belly and egg. I got the pork belly and egg, but got tripe instead of beef - thankfully I eat tripe. Server was hurried, but nice. Just a heads up they’re cash only. Decor in the place is modern and minimal. I’ll try again after they’ve had time to settle in as they’ve only been open 2 days.

Small cozy little restaurant in one of Richmond's many strip malls. We got the house special fish noodles and the spicy one and they both came out super fast. The fish broth was rich and delicious and the noodles were cooked to a perfect chewy consistency. There was also a plentiful amount of tofu, fish pieces, and lettuce. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a quick and affordable bowl of comforting food.

Didn’t let us leave without giving tips.Our bill was $28.88 (including tax) and we gave $30. If you want to tip which IS NOT MANDATORY, you tip just on food before tax. The lady called out “hello?” and said we didn’t give service fee, insisted we give 10%. I felt very pressured and uncomfortable. Read the other 1 star reviews that mention the same things!

I was recommended by a friend to try out Grains Fish Noodle. Fyi: CASH ONLY! Make sure to grab some cash before heading over. Came on a Friday evening and it was actually quite busy -- a lot of people were constantly going in and out. I ordered an original fish noodle soup ($13.95) and it was much better than I expected! The broth is light but had a lot of flavour. I would say that there's not many "toppings", but there is enough vegetables and fish for it to be a fulfillling meal. Fish was actually quite tasty as well as I personally do not prefer "boiled" fish usually. The bowl also came with a LOT of noodles. The noodles were filling but it doesn't give you that "bloated" feeling, which I appreciate. I really liked the multi-grain/different coloured noodles!We also ordered duck feet, which was quite standard as a side dish. I could tell that it was marinated long enough for the sauce to seep into the meat itself.Meal was perfect for a cold evening and I am definitely going to be back! I see this restaurant to become one of my staples for lunch/dinner. Would highly recommend.

I can't express enough how good this place is!!! So good that I completely forgot to take photo of the food because it was eaten too quickly. Fyi it is cash only so make sure you have some beforehand! I got my husband the house special and for myself the spicy pork intestine, to my husband's dismay (he is not a fan of pork intestine one bit). This place is so good that I ended up having to switch the dish around because my husband wanted the rest of the spicy intestine, this is the first time ever seeing him wanting pork intestine in any way! The house special is also super tasty, it has a creamy rich umami flavour with delicious pieces of fish. However if you're a fan of intestine, then I would for sure recommend that one! I don't live close by but I have forever marked this place as a favourite for the next time I am there, thank you for such a wonderful experience!!

The broth is rich and flavourful, perfect amount of spice in the hot and sour version. The noodles are perfectly bouncy and just soft enough. Ate the entire bowl without feeling too heavy. Fantastic.

Small, clean restaurant with simple decor. We went in between sitting (between lunch and dinner) so it was quiet. Service quick. Decent size portions and flavourful. Definitely home comfort soup. Enjoyed the different type of noodles in the soup. The Chef Seafood Noodle Soup was delicious and had a decent amount of ingredients.Definitely recommend if you in the area especially since the weather is getting colder.
