Food was probably 2-3 stars had some spicy chicken it was hot and fresh and exactly what we expected. I should have been concerned that lunch time and every other restaurant in the area was busy but this one was empty. Service was mediocre but when you go to pay there is a sign that you need to tip in order to eat in?????? That’s a 1 star review at best!Give good service with great food and I’ll be happy to tip you but NEVER demand or expect one.

Avoid this dishonest and disgusting place.Ordered through Ubereats for pickup and arrived restaurant early.Staffs were talking to each other in Chinese :" Today's chicken size is too big, I am going to have a bite." "Customer is already here, how are you going to do that."Ended up taking out some of what they already put in for my order and hiding it at counter.當著客人的面說要吃客人的餐點,很棒的餐廳

Ordered popcorn chicken Bento. Price was approx $12 but the portion is smaller now. My 9 year old son finished the whole thing. Chicken was a bit dry.

Chicken was fantastic, along with their Yuzu Soda ..but the French Fries were extremely undercooked, not seasoned very well and pretty much raw.Not sure what happened there, as it wasn't very busy ..but I would not reccomend that side.Just stick with the chicken and their drinks, and you should be good ??Also, that mandatory tipping on dine-in ..that made me LOL!

I was so excited to eat here 'cause I grew up eating this in Taiwan and it's been forever since I've had one! We came at 9:30pm on a Sunday and it wasn't too busy but service was kinda slow. We got #1 or their regular chicken to share and it took a while for it to be ready. It comes hot af lol you wouldn't be able to hold it without your hands burning. It was crunchy and good in the initial bite but after a while, it started to get really oily and the batter kept separating from the chicken. I felt like there was too much batter and it over powered the chicken. For $10.99, not bad for a huge piece of chicken.

Picked up my mobile order here. Store appears to be closed and all lights out at front, even though there was still one entire hr advertised before closing. Order bag feels very light and the portion does not feel right. Popcorn chicken is about 1/3 volume of the bag, yam fries size about right. The taste overall is somehow about average but chicken meat felt like old or refried, does not value my money. Business owner, you may increase the menu price to offset the inflation whatever you see fit, I totally understand, but from a consumer point of view, if I don't get me filled in one order, why do I want to come back?

Tried the hot cheese fried chicken. It was crispy, cheesy, very garlicky, and juicy!! The meat itself was heavily seasoned and salty, so I recommend that you purchase/bring a drink. Luckily, I ordered the rose lychee soda with my chicken. It was quite refreshing and helped cut the greasiness of the meat since It was a little oily. All of the rose was at the top so I didn't taste much of it until the end. Unfortunately, the cheese inside was all on one side of the chicken, so the other half didn't have any. There was also about a 15 minute wait for my food, since it is made to order!

Vancouver has so much authentic Chinese food it's crazy. We walked past this place so I took a mental note to see how authentic it is and I'm happy to say it's very authentic. I believe the original one originated from Taiwanese night market as street food and then it spread quickly in China. The signature dish or order is the big fried chicken fillet. When you see the word bug you generally have a preconceived notion of how big a chicken fillet would be but I bet you will still underestimate how big it would be. It's humongous! It's also fried perfectly so no complaints there. I don't recommend the fried mushrooms much mostly because it's decent but nothing to write home about.

A bit slower but at reasonable speed and price. Don't street parkings around end walkable to bus stops. A small sign so I almost didn't see that it was in that area. Good fried chicken and definitely satisfied my cravings but not the best fried chicken I've had in Richmond. The Hot Star fried chicken in Taiwan is much better

Chickens cooked well and juicy but the service here is a joke. They put such little sauce on the chicken as to not make em soggy i guess but when you ask for extra they scoffed at me. Dont go here if you dont speak chinese. They will disrespect you

Tasty crispy chicken but the price is outta this world. 12$ is wayyyy too much for a filet chicken bread lol. Also this place smells like burnt fryer oil.

One of best fried chicken I had. Very appreciated to have a flavour that's different from normal fried chicken.

How can they be out of the main thing they sell (large fried chicken)?Anyhow, this place is pretty good when they do have their well renowned large fried chicken! Closest you'll get to authentic night market large fried chicken.

Very rude staff and dishonest promotions.I saw this discount online saying 50% off on the delivery app (Fantuan) and eligible for pickup, but when I actually got there, I was informed that I had to order more along with the discounted food, which is not mentioned in the promotion. They said they would rather not sell if I only order the discounted food. If you guys don’t want to give discounts, it’s fine but don’t trick customers with lies. It’s restaurant’s responsibility to communicate clear with the third party(food app in this case).
