Tried their sinigang na bangus and crispy pata and both were very good and very tasty. Their are so many items on their menu and was overwhelm on what to order. We got to ask them their house specialty on our next visit. Portion was very large which is reflected on the price per order which is on the high side so it is best to share with a company to get the best value for your money. The lady server was very friendly and welcoming.

It's our last day in Vancouver bc before driving off to oregon so I'm craving for Filipino food. Came here since it's near but I don't think I saw the latest review. We had pancit canyon (yes order this) and the value meals. The pork bbq and lumpia meal has that Filipino taste you'd love! Order the crispy tofu too. Pinakbet is ok as well and will go with sisig. Though I prefer a little spicy-ness and with egg on the sisig. Order the sago't gulaman to complete your meal. Yes also to garlic rice. Servers are courteous and place is clean. Oh don't forget your halo halo dessert to share

Had cravings for Filipino food. This place has been around for ages . The inside reminds me of a typical restaurant in the Philippines. The food was fresh and it hit the spot! There's tons of options in their menu and I will be going back to try some more. There's plenty of parking in the plaza but it can get busy as it shares with high traffic stores around it. Get the crispy pata ! I recommend it .

Food is great and service as well. Only it needs a bigger room to accomodate more customers coming in..

This was my first time to this small Filipino restaurant in Richmond. There’s a good-size parking lot there as it’s in a strip mall. It’s a very basic eating place in terms of decor and atmosphere. And the server expected us to know what we wanted to order even before we sat down, literally! They must get a lot of regulars who do know. After we arrived at 6, many others streamed in…it’s a popular restaurant for the Filipino community, so the food is authentic. The servings are on the small side compared to one other such restaurant I ate at, but the food was very good. My eating companions say that they prefer this restaurant. My fav was the sinigang or tamarind and miso soup (with milk fish) and the bagoon rice.

I am a Filipino Chinese who was raised near Ongpin Street in Binondo, Manila. Growing up in this vibrant neighborhood, I developed a deep appreciation for both Filipino and Chinese cuisines. Little Ongpin has become a cherished haven for me, especially when I'm hit with homesickness and yearn for the flavors of authentic Filipino dishes. The food at Little Ongpin goes beyond just satisfying my cravings – it's an exceptional experience. The quality of their offerings is truly noteworthy, and the prices are remarkably reasonable. The authenticity of the flavors takes me back to the bustling streets of Binondo.Speaking of authenticity, one of the aspects I value the most is the chance to converse in my native tongue, Filipino. It's a heartwarming feeling to be able to share stories and connect with the staff in a familiar language. When visiting, I've found that arriving early is a smart move, especially during peak hours, as parking can be a bit limited. Despite the slight difference in ingredients due to being in Canada, the flavors still manage to capture the essence of Filipino cuisine. For those of us who grew up with the tastes of Binondo, Little Ongpin is a taste of home away from home.
