The seats were super uncomfortable to sit in. Like sitting on a wooden bar and my legs got no blood flow within 10mins. Food and services were ok.

Absolutely the worst experience I've had here. I've never experienced anything like this before, which prompted for a review. You do everything by yourself here. The only time I interacted with a server was when we were being seated and when we paid. You're seated at a tabled and pointed towards a QR code in which you place an order via phone (which is fine), but when given our food, we weren't even given any napkins until asking for them. The food is good, but the service is so, so, so poor. Not once was the table checked on and asked if we needed anything else when food was brought out.Upon paying, I thought I selected the option to tip, but then the server said I didn't select a tip. He returned the card machine to me to tip and stood there, staring holes into my head watching me type tip in. Now usually I'll tip at least 15% for decent service. But here? What am I even tipping for? The service? Because that was certainly non existent. Not to mention the pushy server who passive aggressively demanded I tip.Safe to say, I will not be coming back here, and will be letting all my friends know as well. The food is good, but not good enough to make up for service that a robot could do better. This place was better when it was known as Strike.

Authentic Taiwanese eatery that brings you back to the origin of the classic "hot-stir fried" dishes. It's permanently on my rotation list of cravings. Service is always pleasant and interior is tastefully decorated as well. A side of jazz in the background is a rare bonus these days.My go-to picks are the Cumin Lamb, Garlic stir-fried A-Chai (Chinese Lettuce), Ginger Clam Soup, and the Spicy Deep-Fried Chicken Steak (椒麻雞排). Their Caramel shaved ice is perfect to share with a group of friends as well!

I came here for something light and was shocked by how expensive the "small bites" section is. The beef wrap I got cost $9 before taxes and tips and the portion was very disappointing. Out of the 4 pieces, pretty much only 2 of the middle ones have good stuffing, the others barely have much in them. They do taste pretty good though.I like the online ordering system where we could just order on our phones. However, they only accept cash or debit ($10 or more), and they do not do split bills.

Was a bit disappointed with their lunch service the last time I went. First time here ever for "lunch". Rice felt like reheated leftover rice. Didn't enjoy their scallion pancakes and their pineapple shrimp weren't as good as the last few times I had it. Never quite loved their 3 cup chicken (it's named something else here in English, but I can't quite remember)... but that's more a personal preference kinda thing. I'm just probably more used to the sauce at Pearl Castle since I've eaten there since I was a kid. I do like how quiet it is for lunch on a weekday though. And once again... I wish they'd update their paper menu to be in line with their QR code menu. I'm old school and I hate finding what I want to order every time I'm here. I always just get my friends who are better at Chinese/ (navigating the confusing phone menu) than me, to order for me. But this time I didn't have them with me. I really miss thé good old days when you were properly helped by your waitress/ waiter. It's like you're literally just left there to fend for yourself until you figure things out. And yes, their mobile menu comes in English too, but it doesn't help when I can't find what I'm looking for.

The flavor is a bit plain for some of the dishes we ordered. The pineapple shrimp fried rice was different and tasted good. The beef noodle broth are on the light sodium side - I personally would like the heavy seasoning. The pork belly texture is good but lack flavor and seasoning.

Disappointing MSG combo for two...We always see people lining up for this place and finally got to try out their food.Very disappointing meal...The deep fried chicken was so stiff and salty, doesn't taste like it's freshly fried. Very disappointed that such a statement Taiwanese item yet quite easy to prepare taste so bad....the same item in some food court in Richmond taste so much better....We picked pig ear (too hard, maybe not blanched well before flavoring), marinated egg (standard) and pickled cucumber (standard flavor, but I wish it was the long slice cut)The pork blood and intestine dish was the worst...it supposed to taste spicy like the menu indicates, but it's not spicy at all. And the whole dish is just too mushy...We upgraded the rice to egg and beef slices don. The beef quality is not that good, and overly salty. No comment on the egg, swallowable, but mushy....I have to say this place uses way too much MSG in their food...very thirsty throughout and after the meal...and we don't even finish the food...Honestly, a combo for two for almost $50(before tax and tips) for this kinda of food is very very unacceptable... Knowing the food cost of these ingredients are actually quite low and prepping is relatively short and easy, for a meal like this, there are definitely many more better options in Richmond.Service was ok, very fast serving, servers are quite attentive. Atmosphere is good, spacious and bright, quite a comfortable dining place, I just hope they focus more on the core of a restaurant---food!Kid-friendliness: I see huge long wide table and some high chairs available, could take family gatherings for sure.

Stopped by for lunch and everything was incredible. We ordered the Micha signature pork soup and their braised pork belly. We ordered the soup with the expectation that it would be in some medium-sized bowl that the two of us can easily share. The soup actually was giant and is meant for a family. Luckily, it was absolutely delicious; the pork was super tender, the egg fits in perfectly, and the broth was tasty. Every drop was finished. The braised pork belly was also delicious. Tender and fatty, I wished there was so much more sauce for the rice to soak in. I'm also a super fan of pork floss, so loved its inclusion. The side is also noteworthy. The radish soup was so flavorful yet light, and the tofu was fantastic.Everything we ate was five stars on its own. Only panic was when paying our server said they only accept cash or debit? I only had credit cards and American money, but in the end, she was able to use my credit card. Not sure what that was about.

Micha serves up Taiwanese comfort food that's both fast and affordable. I've been coming here for a couple years now and I'm always impressed with how quickly the staff will bring your food soon after you order from your phone.I typically go with their classic Taiwanese dishes like braised pork rice and popcorn chicken with noodles, but lately I've been trying more of their menu and I'm loving it! Their smoked duck egg roll is surprisingly tender, and has become one of our new favourites. They also have a variety of individual sized hotpots that are tasty and comforting.

Came on a Thursday night, and there was a bit of a wait to be seated. The combo for 2 is a great way to try multiple items and is a decent amount of food for 2 people. The stir fried dishes, fried dishes, and rices are all flavourful and good quality. The only let down is their cold dishes which aren't particularly great or special. I wouldn't choose to order those unless part of a set.Parking: Register your car with the restaurant for free parking in the parking lot.

Ordered by QR code on our phones. Got the Beef Noodle in Soup. Meat was very tender. Soup base was flavourful. It was so good I devoured it and forgot to take a picture. Service was basic. It wasn't busy so they didn't mind my friend and I chatting for over an hour almost after we finished our food. Would consider coming again to try something else on the menu.

It is not my first time to be here - but I really want to share my take-away experience for today:I went into the store today at around 7pm and the place is not very busy - I stood at the entrance and waiting for someone to greet me and tell me what should I do for take-outs.Then a lady with gold hair, wearing a glasses and a mask came to me and asked me what do I need. I tried to told her I want to order take-aways and what I need. Then I grabbed a menu and tried to point to her what I need (I ordered deep-fried squid) - she does not even bothered looking at it and just make me to the payment place. Then she just put my order in and not even repeat what the order is - I do not even recognize the order was wrong until another lady deliver that to my hand. When the order went wrong, I gently told her the order was wrong (She gave me fried chicken nuggets) and please exchange that with what I want - then she waved the lady who helped me with the order. I told her about this and she used a very impatient tone and told me that was what I ordered, then I said no it is not. After that she kept saying I ordered chicken nuggets instead of fried squid with an EXTREMELY RUDE TONE and even saying something like "I swear I heard you said chicken nuggets" with her crossed hands. We went back and forth for at least three time, and she kept pushing the wrong order to me and simply just want to kick me out of the store. Eventually she said nothing and just went to the kitchen to re-do the whole order as I refused to take the wrong ones.Hopefully the management can see this - I do not believe that is a right attitude to serve customers. I understand working in a restaurant can be intense and made mistakes. I do not mind waiting for extra time when this happens - we all made mistakes and what we need is to admit the mistakes and solve it, instead of using rude and reluctant attitude and try to push things through.P.S. The food got no problem at all and they are tasty - I still rate them a four out of five. But hopefully the service can get better in the future and these situations can be avoided.
