There were many options for rice cakes, such as black sesame, red bean, soybean, osmanthus etc. There were also fruit mochis, and we got the mango mochi. We didn’t realize the mango was frozen, so when eating it the mango was crunchy with ice crystals, and it wasn’t the best. The soybean mochi we also got was better and was very soft. It tasted a little like peanuts.
The daifuku with taro paste, purple sweet potato and meat floss, and the mochi and meat floss scallops are delicious. The sweet-scented osmanthus cake was just a little bit inferior. The fragrance of the sweet-scented osmanthus was not enough, and it was not loose and fluffy enough.
