there was a piece of HAIR in the sashimi i ordered???? first of all gross?? second of all i ordered two orders of sushi (one full order of sashimi and another order of scallop roll) and only gotten 1 tiny amount of soy sauce for the entire order. also ordered their teriyaki rice but they didn’t include a spoon... i asked for cutlery to be included. i just don’t know why they didn’t put two things of soy sauce for two orders of sushi? like what they had in that tiny 1 oz container (legit few drops of soy sauce) isn’t going to be enough for anything… cheaping out on things like these is so annoying

Staff is unfriendly. Waitress gave me bad face when I came for my pickup as it’s not ready yet and even counter ask me what’s the pickup time? And see what time is it now!

All I CAN’T eat…I guess I am one of those who loves buffets during my youngling years and I can only imagine the buffet places would rather not have me back the second time around lol. Fast forward it to nowadays, I am having a hard time getting by the first round?!?My buddies and I used to frequent Kingsway sushi and this place (when it was Richmond sushi before). I haven’t been back here ever since they changed management.Coming back here, this pace was more of a rearrangement rather than renovation as far as how I remembered it was before. A casual atmosphere with a spacious layout. There’s a little self serve session for soups, salads and desserts now. Here was the food I ordered, AYCE $43.95/person;1. Miso soup, surprisingly it was quite hot at the self serve station.2. Grilled garlic mussels, chicken wings, prawn tempura, oyster motoyaki. All were lukewarm, a couple of the oyster motoyaki had a bit of sands?!?3. Bbq beef ribs, deep fried tofu, beef udon, mango pudding. Tofu was hard as a rock, beef ribs were okay, beef udon was cold and the beef was dry, mango pudding was good.4. Salmon teriyaki was overcooked and dry, pan fried vegetables were undercooked, beef teriyaki was old and dry, vegetable tempura was lukewarm.5. Salmon, tuna, hamachi, hokkigai, saba, tako, toro, amaebi sashimi. Everything was okay except for the amaebi, it absolutely wasn’t fresh! The hokkigai was a bit wrinkly and chewy?6. Beef tataki. Was kinda tasteless and still semi frozen.7. Unagi, chopped scallops, masago, tamago, ebi nigiris. They were okay.8. Salmon oshi, tempura roll, avocado roll, salmon crab roll. Pretty basic.Overall, it was a very causal atmosphere, however, it’s missing that vibrant busy energy that it used to have when it was Richmond Sushi. The service was okay, a bit on the low energy side but had attempted efforts. As for the food; the sushi could be a bit more fresh, especially the amaebi, toro and hokkigai. The cooked food was obviously precooked and place on warmers to serve when ordered.I didn’t know why I even ordered the 2nd round, maybe my Asian side kicked in, needed to stuff my face till I feel belt unbuckles itself?!? Anyways, it’s more of an All I Can’t Eat nowadays..

I came here with my boyfriend for dinner. The all you can eat menus have 3 rounds and a 90 minute time limit. For the first round we received about 30% of the food we ordered. When we asked a waitress about this she said "you can order again".Sigh... Okay we ordered again. A different waitress takes our order sheet this time. She brings it back 2 minutes later. We are then served a total of 10 pieces of sushi (out of our 60 or so piece order) and told we have nothing more coming and to order again.I would not recommend this place to anyone. I feel like I just got scammed.

Average place to come for AYCE. I would say it is worth it to pay a bit more for the more expensive combo set so that u could get sashimi and the torched aburis.

Gas station sushi, but a lot of it. That's what most people should expect from all you can eat sushi spots. The sushi sucks, but at the very least you're gonna be so full you can't move.Sadly, at Ninkazu, not only is the sushi trash, but they don't bring you half the stuff you order, so you can't even eat a lot of it. I went here for dinner with my girlfriend and we ordered probably about 60 rolls for our first order (there are 90 minutes to eat 3 sets of orders of sushi). They brought us 20-25 max, and then didn't return our order sheet, so not only did we not get 60% of the food we ordered, but we couldn't order more. I mentioned to one of the servers that we didn't get half our order, and she just told me to order more, which is fine I guess, just a pain. The second order, I ordered even more, hoping that this time I might actually get a California roll, I would be sorely mistaken. Again we got probably 40-50% of what we ordered and nothing else. By this point I had written down 25 pcs of California roll, and 15 PC's of spicy tuna in 2 orders, I had seen 4 spicy tuna. Before our final order I asked one of the staff if we had more food coming, to which she told me no, I told her about our predicament and she apologised and told me that she would make sure we got all our food this time. For our final order we did get everything we asked for, but our food had been settling for so long that it was a slog to eat it all. Miserable experience that left me feeling grumpy and annoyed, props to that one server whoever you are, everyone else was awful.

The cashier gave me attitude for not tipping. She said “excuse me! The tip is not included in the price” I asked her “is it mandatory? I already paid your price” then she said “no but in North America you have to in every restaurant.” Um no that’s incorrect because I’ve been to many other restaurants and they never give me bad attitude because it’s MY choice as a customer! Be quiet and be thankful I paid. Never coming back again.

My recent dining experience at NINKAZU restaurant left much to be desired, to say the least. From the moment we walked in, the service was abysmal. Waitstaff seemed indifferent and inattentive, failing to address our needs promptly. However, the real shock came when our sushi arrived at the table. Not only did we discover a fly nestled within one of the rolls, disturbingly, it appeared to have been sliced open, oozing a dark liquid. This nauseating sight completely ruined our appetite and left us questioning the hygiene standards of the establishment.Overall, the combination of poor service and unhygienic conditions has left me deeply disappointed with my experience at NINKAZU. It's unfortunate that what could have been an enjoyable dining outing turned into a regrettable and stomach-turning ordeal.

I wish I could give this store a 0 star if I could.Sushi tasted like it was going to give me food poison. I paid 50$ for this kind of quality. I get it’s all you can eat quality but it should not make me feel like I’m going to get sick. They don’t even cut it properly. One of the male server was throwing the dishes at us to eat on the table and the lady when we ordered, she started to put our order differently from what we ordered. When we talked to her about this, she said are you sure you can eat this, u have to pay a penalty if you don’t instead of apologizing to us. Then she brought the order and didn’t even bring us all of our food so we just left.Do not go to this place unless you want to waste money and mad.Only thing good to go for is the short ribs but they won’t even let you order it the second time and instead ask you to order more Coke to make you full as soon as possible

Great all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant. With the basic menu, they have chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki. Also buffet dessert which has mango pudding and other additions.

2024 they finally brought back the self serve stations. Here you can get your own miso soup, sunomono, fried rice, mango pudding and other DIY desserts.Back in 2023, they didn't even have sunomono back on the menu like pre‐COVID. And, you had to order miso soup and wait. The self serve station makes it much better.Went there for lunch. The thickness and length of the nigiri sushi is much better than last year, which was paper thin. Tempura comes even comes hot now. Now it is worth it to come here. Their karaage is still dry though.
