I went at opening and ordered a 2 piece cod and chowder. The fries were cold and soggy and the chowder was lukewarm. Fish was the only item that was hot. Quality and standard needs to be better maintained.

The place is great to have a meal with your family and friends. They have outdoor tables on the pier, so you can enjoy your meal while walking your pet on a beautiful day. The food was good and the bottomless fries are delicious. Expect to wait in line for at least 15 minutes, if you visit during a weekend. The service was kind and fast.

Good spot to have fish and chips. Long queue during busy days is a bit annoying, especially when online orders seem to be a priority. Also the location close to the harbor makes it entertaining.

Fish needs to be well cooked. Shouldn’t be served until fully cooked due to rush hour. It’s okay to wait to eat the best. Should be worth.

As a Steveston resident, I always look forward to early sunny days when Pajo's will be open. Yesterday their cod and fries was delicious but the poor 3 staff were run off their feet. I hope their numbers increase soon!Parking: 3 hour free street parking or paid lot adjacent.

Went in to the Steveston location for lunch today and it was absolutely terrible. My fish (cod) was raw. I took it back up to the cashier and there was no apology or urgency to give me another piece of fish. I asked to speak with the manager and was informed she was busy cooking. I finally got my fish and all of my party had already finished there’s. The replacement I got was now over cooked and hard as a rock. My husband tried to eat his and the fish was impossible to cut through. Chewy and gross. Given that the bill was $84 and terrible, I would not recommend or go back. The customer service was terrible too.

Pajos did not disappoint. It is worth the hype and line up. The dry tastes light, not too much batter and the cook on the fish is perfect. I also had a chowder, and it is delicious with lots of clams in it too. This is not a cheap meal though, but it's about right considering it's in a prime tourist destination.
