Sizzling bowl of goodness! Remimds me of the Korean bibimbap. Delicious twist of rice, meat and veggies of your choice.Bowls came out extremely hot with a label that has a warning.Overall, good twist to the concept of hot rice, sizzling, raw eat and veggies cooked in while you eat.

Service was really good. Portions were poor for the price, thankfully there's an option to upgrade the meal for a cost. Definitely a unique experience to have a fast casual meal sizzling on a hotplate. I remember it being better in Hong Kong though.

Stars are for the food and dining environment. Foods are good seating is comfortable. But I just regretted to pay the tips. Why would I pay the tip when I even didn’t see the server during the whole time? Everybody seemed like was on their break. I understand that for this kind of diner I shouldn’t have too high expectations for services. But at least make the servers visible please?

Someone had told me this place was good and after coming here, I'm not sure why. I honestly didn't know what this place was based on the name. I still don't understand what this place is. I theorize it could be a place where you order different meats with different carbs and you 'cook it yourself' on a hot stone plate? I don't know but I didn't like it. I ordered the wagyu beef with rice, no pepper. It's plain rice, with corn niblets mixed in, and raw beef which you have to mix around and make sure it's cooked? Anyways it just wasn't my style but I'm rating it average because it wasn't bad. The meat was a little stringy, but the sauce on the side was good.

Food was great and service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed cooking my meal in the plate with the appetizing smell; yum yum. Price was also reasonable considering the amount of meat in my dish. On top of that, my server was kind enough to keep my phone after I forgot it until I came back.Would definitely recommend for those looking for a quick lunch.

First time here. Staff is friendly, especially the front end girl, wish I could remember her name. Very polite. Food tasted great and is a neat style of restaurant. The only downside was the portion size of meat. For the price you pay, there should be more.

Really good lunch place to eat at! Have had pepper lunch in Japan this one is just as good as the ones in Japan! Fun place to eat lunch and very reasonably priced!

I am not an expert about Japanese Culinary, I visited here just to give a try. The taste is okay, I liked. But the amount of the meat in my plate should have been more for that price. For instance, I didn't understand why my burger patty was half cut out.

Reasonable prices for the given portions. I like to have the kids meal for something small during my lunch breaks

We have ordered two takes our, one large size and a regular size. End up, both portion are same as regular’s. I am confused what is the point of buying a large (extra) portion. Would love to hear a reply from pepper lunch if possible.

This place is remarkable!! Quick, easy and tasty food!!! Like it is not only fresh but also looked the way I loooove! Used to come here often but now, I order it or pick it up!! The serving is huuuge for reasonable price and some leftovers to bring home! Did someone say go-to? We did!!

The food is good - pretty basic. As others have mentioned, prices are incredibly high for what it is (I.e. chicken tonkatsu curry was $20). Spacious and nice ambience.
