Best breakfast / brunch in Richmond. Excellent food and attentive, unobtrusive, friendly service. I've been a regular for 5 years. Free underground parking in the hotel parkade.

Fresh and well seasoned food with lots of selection. Not large portions, if that's what you are looking for.

One of my go to places to have breakfast without having to wait. We are lucky to have Scott take care of us every time and he is a true professional.

Exemplary service and beautiful food. We ate here every day and the food was delicious, cooked to order and served with a smile. Incredible staff and wonderful atmosphere. Big thanks to Erhan for his help and wonderful service throughout our week long stay.

We got comp breakfast here as Marriott platinum. Service was great and food tasted good. Portion is quite large though, so definitely take that into account if you plan to hit up some restaurants nearby early noon.

I had breakfast here during a cold snap in Vancouver. Restaurant was so cold that staff had to wear puff winter jackets! My bill was $50.40 for a Salmon Benedict plus apple pie desert before tip; very expensive.Friendly and polite service was enjoyable.Overall I don’t recommend this restaurant.

=== 1. VERDICT/VALUE 3.5 stars. If you're coming here, you're coming for the good food and service, not the price! This review is based on breakfast only.=== 2. FOOD So Marriott Elite (Gold and above) enjoy a free breakfast at this restaurant as well as free non-alcoholic drinks whenever the restaurant is open in lieu of a club/M lounge on-site.Egg White Omelette ($26):The dish to choose if you're vegetarian or looking for lighter fare: arugula, tomatoes atop egg whites, accompanied by mini potatoes.West Coast Benedict ($27):Poached egg atop smoked salmon and spinach, covered in Hollandaise sauce - it's great and well done! Accompanied by mini potatoes.Kid's Meal ($9):It's slim pickings for kids and surprisingly at breakfast, there are no options with eggs. My little guy chose a peanut butter banana sandwich, which comes with a side bowl of fruit. It's basic and alright! All beverages cost extra - $5 for milk, coffee, juice, etc. - the price of admission for any of the food isn't cheap, but it is a hotel restaurant after all!=== 3. SERVICE It was great from start to finish; the food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the kid's menu doubled as a colouring sheet (with crayons).=== 4. ENVIRONMENT High ceilings and modern decor await you with windows on two sides, and a bar in the middle. There did not seem to be a lot of seating, but you could presumably bring groups of 10 or so easily if the tables were combined. Those with wheelchairs and baby strollers should have not challenges here. There is parking underground, though one must enter/exit via the ground-level gate area, which is interesting/unusual - there is no door between the parking and the hotel.

Patrons mostly consist of hotel guests. We paid for parking but didn't realize I just needed to pass them our license plates. There were a couple larger business groups that were louder, making conversations difficult. The food and service otherwise were okay.

Food is good; coffee is good.Service was poor, particularly at breakfast. As a business' traveller this was very frustrating.1. Firstly when trying to pay for the meal. It took more than 15 minutes one day after my plate had been removed; during which time the table next door had been able to pay their bill. Eventually I had to pay at the front desk. No tip, I'm afraid. The day before it took nearly as long, but I was able to pay the waiter eventually.2. One day there was no check on whether the food was satisfactory, and there was no coffee refill, even though my coffee cup was empty when the food was brought.
