Had a really bad experience thanks to 'Manager Nick". He has no sense of hospitality, he wouldn't know how to talk to a guest if his life depended on it. Thinks he is a rockstar but honestly has no respect in the industry. He is a true racist at heart and having him in that pub has destroyed its reputation. The pub could have been a good lively place considering our only local spot but thanks to him its super dead and I would rather go to McDonalds than deal with this idiot for a drink at an empty bar...Do not recommended...for me and my friends hospitality comes 1st. if you don't respect us we would not care for your establishment. Please have proper staff training and many more reviews shall follow...

Every change JRG has made to the bucks food has steadily ruined this place. They dont realize that when you rip people off by taking good things off the menu and shrinking portions you lose customers for life. $5 to upcharge for a "cream" of mushroom soup that is grainy and gross. $1 to make a sandwich a wrap and you get a child size meal. Everything on the menu has been whittled down to be as cheap as possible and the cost cutting is blatant. The prices don't match the food.

It was alright. Nothing extraordinary about the menu, the service and atmosphere. Stable and steady I guess and quite consistent so it's a reliable place for hang outs and I can see why locals

We settled on lunch here as we couldn’t decide on one particular thing and thought the Irish bar menu would be suitable.Pretty much empty on a Tuesday in February for a tourist driven area during the off season so it was nice and quiet. Our server was very pleasant, giving great service. Two of us ordered English Style Fish & Chips ($18/1 pce) and the other, the daily special Pulled Pork Sandwich ($9.99).The 1 piece cod was very large but a lot of batter it seemed and not very crispy. The sandwich was good and while the chips looked overcooked, the taste didn’t reflect that. The daily specials are a good deal compared to the regular prices. We asked about the price of the Sat/Sunday breakfast as the board had been erased, it’s now $5.99 (from $4.99).Street parking is limited even during off peak season.Pay parking lots are available ($2.69/hr) was one price we saw.

Food was great. They didn't have the beer on tap that I wanted again. Server was awesome though and the reason I would return. Very personable and friendly.

We went for the $6 breakfast special, the hash browns are delicious, the eggs were okay, you only get one piece of toast for two eggs, we would have preferred two slices. The Caesar cocktail special was very good and a great price at $5. I would try there breakfast special again, but I'm glad we didn't have to pay full price. Our server was very friendly, and quickly corrected a mistake with our order.

I live in Steveston village and I can tell you that they have gone down hill big time.Service is good.Food is starting to become subpar and serving size is tiny.

Burgers, beef dip and fish and chips are pretty good. My go-to drink is a white sangria and they do it very well. Friendly and prompt service.Vegetarian options: They have the impossible burger

The food was amazing and the service from Riley was spectacular. Recommend the fish and chips and the beef dip. You may want to add some cheese and grilled onions to the beef dip it made it more spectacular...5 stars!
