The store is very big and has many seats but it is very crowded. The tableware is dirty and you have to wipe it yourself?Food part:- Salted duck $16.99: tender but a bit salty- Stir-fried mutton with green onions $22.99: super salty- Stir-fried Chives $20.99: Not bad. The portion is large and can balance out the saltiness of other dishes.- Shrimp Xiao Long Bao $12.99: Delicious! I finally ate something delicious. The soup inside will burst into pulp. Be careful when eating~ The filling is well seasoned and the skin is thin enough~- Shanghai pan-fried buns $11.99: The skin is super thick and the meat is very small... Reviews say it’s delicious, but I didn’t feel it? Very disappointed??- Fried dough sticks $5.99: Not bad. Super big dough sticks! Old enough~- Salty Soy Milk $6.99: Delicious! It’s my first time to drink salty soy milk. Although there is no ingredients in it, the soy milk is very delicious ~ it will make you want to order another bowl.Overall it's really expensive and ordinary... I probably won't come back again :)

Photos on the wall don't do it justice. This place has some gems on the menu, but it is important to ask! We ordered the Ba Bao Jiang Mian, a noodle soup with a very well done chicken stew that had some Sichuan mala flavor but wasn't spicy. But if we didn't get the advice of another diner we'd have not known to order it. Glad we asked.Service was friendly as well. There are dimsum items on the menu that look delicious as well.

Very authentic. Every dish we had were great. Xiaolongbao is better than any I’ve had in the US. Eggplant was also the best I’ve had since china. 2% fee for credit card and no AMEX though.

We walked in on a Sunday and again on a Monday. There were lots of available tables. The menu, though, was all in Chinese with some photos. We got by, though. The food came in a timely way and was temperature hot. I liked everything we’d ordered, especially the pan fried pork soup dumplings. My eyes kept glancing over at other tables, the food being so different from the usual Chinese cuisine we are used to and looking so delicious. I’m determined to return for more. Oh, be sure to have debit or cash. ?

I recommend the crab flavored xlb. The only complaint I have is the quality control of the meat. Sometimes it has a bit of a off taste.

Delicious food, typical Asian restaurant ambiance. Easy parking in the lot. Server understood some English and was able to help us fill in the dim sum order form which was all in Chinese. Their full menu had English. Bring cash if you don't want to add 2% to your bill for using credit card.

Top Shanghai Cuisine Restaurant is a culinary gem, offering an exceptional dining experience with its super tasty food and great service. The fried noodles are a must-try, perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. Their tofu dishes stand out for their flavor and creativity, making it a delight for both tofu lovers and newcomers alike. Vegetarians will find themselves spoilt for choice with a variety of great options. The casserole dishes are heartwarming, rich in flavor, and a testament to authentic Shanghai cooking. Located conveniently, the restaurant's accessibility is just another plus. The steamed baozi with vegetables deserve a special mention for their freshness and delightful taste. Top Shanghai Cuisine Restaurant truly excels in offering a diverse menu, exceptional flavors, and a welcoming atmosphere, making it a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Shanghai dishes.

I only leave one sentence: As a Shanghainese, only one tripod in Shanghai can relieve my homesickness, and no other store can. . . Not really. . .

Menu offers a variety of choice. Must try the fried dumplings and the xiao long bao. Compare to other restaurants, their price and portion sizes were reasonable. Service was ok, visited on a week night and the place was packed but luckily there was no Q.

It’s been a long time since I’ve eaten Shanghainese food in a restaurant. I used to like to eat here because the prices were reasonable, the food was delicious, and the price-performance ratio was very high. So I wanted to eat Shanghainese food yesterday and went there without thinking too much. But this time I was so disappointed. The food was not very tasty and not up to par with the past. It was just unpalatable. During the dinner, I told my friends that it must have changed hands or the chef.We ordered garlic ribs, but when the food came, the pork ribs were all boneless and meatless. They had no flavor and were over-fried and dry. The lemon pork chop had no flavor, not even the sweet and sour taste. The pork chop was fried dry and the sauce was added before being fried in a wok. The dish was not too hot when it was served, and the meat was only a little warm. The pork chop must have been cooked. It's so good that it's so hot when you take it out of the refrigerator.Even the fried silver roll was over-fried, the outside was very dark but the noodles were just warm. There really is no next time and I won’t go there again.

Shanghai Cuisine is a long-established restaurant, and its dishes are much better than before. Some oil is missing.
