I walked in and was second in line so I decided to go to the bathroom .. the lady in front of me was still there after I came out .. the two staff were so engrossed with their discussion that we kept waiting until I asked if they were working .. one said yes .. came over and took that ladies order .. then walked away leaving myself and another customer waiting without so much as a "I'll be right with you " or even a glance .. 5 minutes later the one doing nothing comes over .. zero apologies then took my order .. for flips sakes I even tipped and no thank you .. Avoid this location at all costs

This review would be 5/5, but the caramel macchiato is inconsistent depending on who is working. It sometimes tastes like they forgot to add the sweetener that is usually put in.Otherwise, convenient spot to sit down with a cup of coffee and study, work, meet up with friends etc.

Nice little Cafe in town, at 9am on a Saturday there was only 1 girl working which was so much work for her- idk if they were short staffed or what. She forgot a few things with our order but gave them to us when we reminded. I don't blame her at all because she looked over worked with the amount of people. Food was decent- basically like packaged starbucks food not fresh. And the vibe was really nice. Looks like a Greta place to catch up with friends or do some workVegetarian options: Various milk substitutes

Regrettably, the coffee shop left a lot to be desired. The coffee lacked any distinct flavor or character, making the overall experience quite bland. Given the underwhelming quality, I wouldn't consider it worth a visit. If you're seeking a satisfying coffee experience, you might want to explore other options instead

I got an ice coffee here and stayed around an hour to take shelter from the heat.The coffee is just standard Waves chain coffee, but the inside straight up has a university library vibe. There are a lot of seating, as well as meeting rooms, and a bunch of people on their laptops or books. Somehow, it still seemed almost full with so many people working there, but I’d guess this is your best bet for seating around the area.
waves is such a good place, the drinks taste very good but I can't go there often because of the price... It is the same or even more as starbucks, so really hard to go all the time for me :( but I love their hot chocolate, I think its the best between waves, tim hortons, starbucks and blenz.

Great location, plenty of seating, good service, relatively clean washrooms (I have pooped here many times). Never had problems finding parking either (though it is very walkable as well). I enjoy my experience every time. Richmond doesn't have a whole lot of sit-in coffee shops in the central region, so I appreciate Waves being here.
