The juiciest and most flavorful chicken I have ever had!! Literally melts in your mouth and is perfect combination of flavors. There are four options for sauces Nice restaurant. Lots of parking near a gas station and a Tim Hortons in a roundabout. Lots of sides. Even the coleslaw is fresh tasting and not overly creamy. The staff are super friendly and service is quite quick and efficient. My son had the wrap and he said it was amazing as well as the pita. My husband goes there every time on his way to the lower mainland. Definitely worth the stop.

This is our go to treat for lunch we love the food here, I love grilled chicken wings and it’s perfect for me. Its delicious and it satisfies my tummy ?I recommend this place if you like chicken wings and if you like spicy stuff.

This is a solid 3.5 star in my book. Came here because I love, love Nando's in the UK, and when I stumbled upon Barcelos, I needed to try it. There are some obvious differences -- Nandos has an array of sauces you can bring to your table so you can try different flavors of the chicken, but here, the sauce is chosen upon order (on a one-dimensional spicy scale from 1-5). Given the location / season of our visit, Barcelos felt more like a ghosted diner rather than the popping/bustling Nando's I'm used to. But I suppose that can't be helped. Feedback for the staff: The lady taking our orders was so hard to hear I felt like we had to ask "what" a million times to hear her confirmations. I think she was very soft-spoken. The cook kept coughing, probably because of all the smoke from the grill. In a time when COVID / flu is on a rampage again, it did make me somewhat uncomfortable. I don't know how to solve this one.

Unfortunately, this place is not as busy as one would expect with such high ratings. Prices were reasonable and service was top notch. The concern that I have is that the place has a distinct musty odour. This does not translate to the food, however it is somewhat disconcerting. We had a Portuguese salad and a peri chicken wrap and yam fries. All were very good. I will go there again, likely for take out.Parking: Lots of parking.
