The food was "ok", just ok. Service was really slow, it seemed like the place was horribly understaffed - I saw just one person working in the restaurant/store, which seems ridiculous. The server was nice but it took forever to order, and forever to get food with the appetizer coming at the same time as the meal... I don't blame the server, I do blame management for how they staffed the place.

Don’t get me wrong I love this place and the food but today’s experience was unfortunately for me, surprisingly disappointing.
I was generously gifted a gift certificate for Xmas and have been waiting to finally get the chance to use it, today was that day. Well I went in so excited to purchase some frozen goods from the Galiano market (which I thought was an extension of the restaurant) to bring home so I didn’t have to cook tonight. I’m not a big fan of dining out these days. Only to my surprise I was told I couldn’t use it. I am only able to use my gift certificate in house for the restaurant only-darn. I hope they don’t expire because the restaurant hours are limited which makes it hard to dine there (for me personally). So be mindful folks when purchasing a GC for a loved one and let them know beforehand so they don’t drive all the way there to find out like I did. Total bummer for me today. I will still recommend this establishment but hopefully their GC system can made more accommodating.
P.s It also does not clarify this rule on the GC.

Oh yeah.Friendly staff, friendly chef, good food, charming spot. Get the chicken parm if the waitress tells you to get the chicken parm. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and missed a ferry just to relax and enjoy more of Sechelt.

Got there at noon, the people before us ordered 7x pizzas. After a short wait we were served delicious meals with great service. Highly recommended! 10/10
We visited on Feb. 2/23 and the waitress said that they only just recently opened after Covid! They have a nice food market as you enter with great looking ready-made dishes to take home. We ordered a pizza, a beer and a wine and waited in the bar/cafe area. Very cosy with booths on the wall and tables at the window. Our server was very sweet and we didn't have to wait long for the pizza.
