Food is fantastic and the service is as good as it gets. Lunchtime beef brisket soup is the best in town

Best Chinese in Sidney. Best Chinese on the south island! Best Chinese on Vancouver Island. Ginger beef is a must. We also love the Szechuan

I was not impressed with the dry food, the Wonton Soup was one of the worst I have ever experienced. The spring rolls had less than a tablespoon of ingredients. I lived in China, I eat chinese weekly for 50 years and I do not recommend this restaurant. The vegetables were good, everything else was just not

This place is delicious, consistent, and the owners are so friendly. I have been coming to Victoria for years and always have to make a stop in Sidney for ginger beef at this restaurant. Reasonably priced, clean environment, and great service. They even pour soup and serve shared food onto personal plates for you. Take out is also a great option. Thanks for much good fortune!!

Excellent place to get delicious Chinese food! We did take out (6 of us) - got the dinner for two (wonton soup, chicken chop suey, sweet and sour pork, and pork chow mein), plus breaded almond chicken, Szechuan crispy orange beef, and beef and Chinese greens chow funn. All were hot, fresh and delicious! Lots of food as large portions - we were full and has some leftover! Would highly recommend!

Has been delicious for 26 years (at least). Order the almond chicken, crispy noodle chow mein, ginger fried beef and salt and pepper prawns and you'll be happy.

Always friendly service and an excellent meal here. The ginger fried beef or chicken is legendary, but all their food is great. Consistent through the years, never disappoints.

We have lived in Sidney for 30+ years and were big fans of Good Fortune for both eat-in and take-out. But lately, over the last 2 yrs, we've been very disappointed. The chow mein is nothing but noodles and what seems like boiled chicken. You could not eat this dish on it's own - too gross. The next dish, beef and broccoli, is fine if you don't eat the beef. It too tastes like boiled meat with no flavor. The first time we were disappointed, we asked for a refund of the dishes that were of very poor quality - they argued but in the end gave us the money back. I gave them back the food as proof we were not just trying to get a free meal. But after two years, we ordered again, and the song remains the same. Done with this place. Really too bad. Used to be outstanding before they moved to the newer location. :(

We were here visiting. It was one of the best Chinese food we've ever had. The egg rolls went the"normal" ones we're used to. More like phyllo. Still good.

Restaurant was close by our hotel so we tried. Singapore noodles were quite good. The almond chicken came out partially cooked and like rubber. We couldn't eat it. The server asked if we wanted something else so we tried the sweet and sour chicken. The chicken had a very bad aftertaste and was very rubbery. They didn't charge us for either of the chicken dishes, which is why this was at least a 3 star review. Maybe other meats are better.
