Ate here with my 90 year old Dad. He declared the fish and chips delicious! I concur- cod and chips for him, salmon for me. Both lightly battered and perfectly cooked. My beloved had a prawn bowl or something like that. Lots of delectable treats! The owner came over and had a chat. Dad declared him kind and friendly. He was absolutely both, as was his wife. We have always enjoyed our good here. Great value served with kindness, nothing else beats that!

This looked like a nice stop on our way to sooke. We ordered a ramen soup- we ended really disappointed with the overall experience. Poor flavor, low quality ingredients- noodles were from the two minutes ramen soups (Maruchan type). They used plastic containers for everything- even though we were dining there, and they gave us little wooden “spoons” - impossible to eat soup with those, we asked for other type of spoons and they told us “that all we have” in a rude way. After some minutes they gave us proper soup spoons -but at that point I just wanted to leave ?

A great to visit for a delicious meal. They offer take out and have seating to eat there. They specialize in Asian food but they're fish and chips are some of the best around. Owners are right there every day cooking great food. Andrew and Janet are very friendly, genuine people who take time to ask how you are and chit chat.
