Had a bad experience here before and didn't come back for a long time. Maybe I was just unlucky last time, as I came back after a year and this time I was quite happy with the food quality and taste! Good job guys ?
I have passed by this place a million times, over the years, while driving along 152nd. Only recently found out that they have whole roast pig and all the other the usual Chinese bbq suspects. Only tried the HK style non-chopped roast pork this time around. I noticed that their prices on Skip are much higher ($3.50/lb higher) than if you call and pick up in person, so keep that in mind. Pretty impressed! Going in with no expectations, as usually for this kind of stuff, I’d go to Richmond but it’s quite authentic here — owners/staff speak Cantonese.Crispy skin pork is 90% there but for CNY that day, at least there was no need to wait 2 hours like what we heard in Richmond.The cha sew was good too, esp if you enjoy less sugar/honey touch up.Bonus they accept debit — Rmd Public Market is cash only.Free, plentiful parking in the back.
