We enjoyed Bourbon Street Grill in Guildford Mall for a sample of New Orleans style food that was delicious. I say "sample" because it's not the 'real' thing. You'd have to go South for that or make a big effort to find any where in the Lowermainland. But this place is more than capable of offering a taste of this wonderful type of cuisine for a reasonable price. Nice selection of different flavours of meat dishes. You'll want to request or add hot sauce as their spicy selections are tame.

So today was the first time in a long time that I was at bourbon Street Grill in Surrey, like everything the prices of their food has gone up and in this case more than it should have based on the lack of food that they give you today. We used to always get a full container of food when we ordered at this location, however now it seems they are charging us more money and giving us less food. I saw the person ahead of me and behind me also not get very much food in there containers. I specifically ordered two containers with two different orders and the amount of food in there was at most enough for one and a half containers of yesteryear. I still like their food and the quality of it however I would not spend the money again to try and buy the food I'm not going to get.

Their bourbon chicken and bourbon pork is highly recommended and sought after. One of my favourite place in guildford mall. Food tastes really good but now they increased the price and decreased the portion size. I got 2 meat and 1 vegetable combo. Container was filled with noodles and broccoli and left no space for 2 meats. I got more broccoli than 2 meats. I suggest ask them to put meat first and then rice or veggies.

Food quality has changed. The jambalaya rice, bourbon pork and chicken have been getting worse and worse.
Very nasty lady served us. I asked for a cup to drink my canned pop (can't use a straw due to gum surgery) and she snarled 50 cents if you want one. Asked for a knife to cut up my chicken and the spaghetti and she snapped, "we don't have knives". Should have asked for a refund and left her with the food and the attitude! Will never return or recommend! First and last time there!

Bourbon Street grill is pretty good. Used to go to the one in Coquitlam all the time.
Over cooked / roasted chicken. Rice and carrot good. They call it combo. Little surprised, no drinks, nothing else.
