Getting a little tired, Think 80s. Chairs have no cushion to them anymore.Service is good but it was quiet. Not sure what time they close officially but we knew it was time to leave when the music stopped lol. I suggest 8 pm ??Food is excellent! Salmon.

I can't believe that we have driven past this restaurant so many times and not realized what a gem this is. Like other reviews, this chef really knows how to turn out fabulous food, accompanied by wonderful service out front! We will be back soon... and bring our friends next time too!

I can't believe that we have driven past this restaurant so many times and not realized what a gem this is. It's kind of hidden by shrubs and they call themselves a Bistro, but although the atmosphere is somewhat casual, their menu and execution is much much more than a bistro! Like other reviews, this chef really knows how to turn out fabulous food, accompanied by wonderful service out front! We heard that they were particularly good for seafood so that's what we ordered and everything was great! We will be back soon... and bring our friends next time too!

Oyster special to start was very good. I ordered the paella as an earlier review had rated it excellent. They had obviously never had paella before. Very fresh seafood served over yellow rice. Not baked, not chorizo and I've never had carrots and stuffed olives in paella before. My wife had the lamb chops which were good.

Little Restaurant in Crescent Beach. We got there right when they opened and had our choice to sit inside or out on their outside Patio. We chose the Patio and it was Wonderful. Shaded by a HUGE Chestnut tree and blocked from the street by a fence, this was a great place to have a great meal. The chef/owner Really knows how cook fish. I had the Seafood Cortriade and my wife had the Prawns with linguine. Both were prepared Wonderfully. The Cortriade had a plethora of fish including A portion of Sole that was to die for. At the end of the meal I rechecked the menu to see if they had a stand alone Sole dish as it was that good. My wife's dish was also very good but the sauce had a subtle slightly fishy taste which was fine but not expected. Slightly pricey but not outlandish given the great food.

First time back in several years. The food was delicious. Had daily specials, fried oysters and seafood pasta. Prepared beautifully with fresh quality ingredients. The service was very good and friendly. The only negative observation would be that it looks all very “ tired”. Noticed dust and stain on window sills and chairs. Would give 5 stars if not for that.Overall we had a wonderful meal with good service.

Visited tonight with friends and found the food to be very tasty. Linda the owner was very helpful recommending the right red wine paired with our food. The salad with goat cheese and seafood were delicious as well. My favoirtie was the mango curry prawn entree but my husband and friend raved about the paella! I gave their restaurant a 4, for the casual ambience but the food is worth a visit. Thanks Linda for you kind, welcoming, down to earth personality. We will be back!

This is a cosy, rustic restaurant situated right in the community of Crescent Beach, Surrey BC. The seafood steamer special was OUTSTANDING!! Perfectly, and I mean PERFECTLY cooked. The sole, salmon were incredibly moist and tender. The appetizer of pan fried corn meal crusted Fanny Bay oysters also INCREDIBLE. I will qualify this by saying I have a strong preference for East Coast oysters but these were so perfectly cooked I could have eaten 2 dozen. I spoke with the chef, Wayne and complimented him on the calibre of the seafood and he humbly responded by saying “the secret is to not overlook seafood”. Well Chef Wayne, truer words were never spoken and you epitomize that culinary tactic. Oh Did I mention the chocolate truffle dessert!!!! OMG!!! Outstanding!! My first time there, and I will be back !! Nice job, Chef Wayne and Linda. I really enjoyed my visit.

I really love this little family managed restaurant. If you are looking for great food, good wine and personal attention and fair pricing this is it. We had Mango curried seafood, filet mignion, garlic herb prawns and all dishes were delicious. I also love their small salads as starter, especially the one with grilled Brie. But there are a variety of other starter options too. The chocolate truffle desert is to die for. A dinner at the Bistro well worth the drive from North Vancouver.
