My husband and I went for dinner and our server Roman was incredible. He was knowledgeable about the menu, quick witted on his menu sells. There was a small mistake on one of our tacos and he got us the proper one right away and left us with the extra one as well something else on the house for the mistake. He made the experience really memorable and was a really great server!

Had a great experience here. They gave us a free starter of chips and salsa. The chips were stale but they quickly replaced them with fresh ones once we asked. Our server recommended the fish tacos and my friend and I both ordered them and they were delicious! We were here on thanksgiving day and were surprised at how busy it was for a day you would expect people to be at home. The churros were also very tasty, and the amount of ice cream you get with them is very generous, I had it to myself but easily could’ve shared. I only wish for a chocolate dip in lieu of cajeta. Just a personal preference. La verdad no me gusta cajeta ?, aunque yo se es un sabor de Mexico. Yo creo que un dip de chocolate sería mucho mejor ? We stayed there for three hours, even after we paid for our bill and they were very accommodating. ☺️

Been here a couple times and everything we've ordered has been excellent. There aren't many great Mexican cuisine places around, and Hugo's definitely fills that craving I get when I want something authentic and delicious.Today I didn't have time to sit, so I ordered for take-out. Unfortunately, it took a bit longer than expected but the staff went above and beyond and put in a couple cans of soda and guacamole in the bag to make up for it. We were a bit sad to find that our quesabirras didn't have the accompanying birria cup when we arrived home - but they were super busy, did their best, and it was still delicious regardless. It's been too long, will definitely need to make time to come in for a proper meal and take some pictures of their wonderful dishes.

Easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in Surrey! it's a very kind and welcoming little restaurant. Their star dish is the enchilada with quesabirria coming in close second. The churros were great but the last time we were there we waited a LoOooOong time for them (20 minutes) so it made us feel like we were forgotten. the complimentary chips are to die for with mild, medium and hot sauce for dipping. They have a brunch menu but I haven't been able to visit them yet for that. It can get busy but I think it's worth the wait - often quickish meals so likely not a huge one if you do have to!

Went with brothers and nephew for a birthday dinner.Hostess very accommodating as we wanted to check the menu to be sure I could get something vegan.Then we moved inside as I couldn't relax with the wasp that showed up at our table as fast as the server!I had a delicious burrito, with a tasty mojito. My brothers had some meat based dishes... my nephew had tacos, and they all enjoyed them immensely.I noticed that the tacos had double tortillas which I thought was great.My companions finished their meal with a fresh soft churros, and delicious sweet dips.Server was very friendly and the perfect amount of table follow up.

I was in the area and wanted to grab a quick lunch. I decided to give this restaurant a try. I was seated right away and some complimentary chips and dips were dropped off. I decided to order the Taco Loco after looking over the menu. I snacked on the chips as I wanted for my meal. There were three dips of different spice levels to try. My taco loco arrived after a short wait. It was basically a fried burrito. There was a decent amount of beef, rice and beans as a filling. The wrap was crispy but not greasy.Service was great. Staff refilled my water cup a few times as during the meal without me asking. There is parking available at this small shopping complex.

We had a party of 6 on a Friday and they were able to seat us quickly. The servers did well answering questions and making recommendations. The sauces with the chips and guac were very flavorful and a must try. I ordered the chicken burrito which was delicious. The chicken was moist and it filled me up. The tacos looked good as well. The drink selection was large and I highly recommend the margaritas if you go as they were great and had alot of flavor. Can't wait to return to try more items from the menu!

Restaurant was quiet when we went around lunchtime so we were seated right away. Service was quick and attentive and the food was fresh tasting and delicious. Highly recommend the Quesabirrias, they were flavourful and filling. Loved the cocktails too.
We went during happy hour. Taco loco was fairly oily. While we expected this due to the fact that it was fried. However, somehow what we primarily tasted was the oil. Service was ok... Missing forks from the table, didn't take menus (for plate was put on top of them), the floor was dirty (food on the floor) but the server was polite.

Fortunately we made it between happy hour and the dinner rush.The food and drinks were amazing, I also learned the point of the second taco shell to catch whatever falls out of the first one. Extremely filling and the margarita was quite nice.4/5 stars for atmosphere because of the file of wasps constantly hovering around during our meal. Other then that it was amazing ?

Good food, great margaritas. The pitcher was supposed to be 8 drinks but turned out to be closer to 6. But still a great pitcher of margs. The physical menus could have been a bit nicer, they were just printed paper when we went, kind of tattered. Great food though and our server was very friendly.

The food tastes great, but unfortunately it has arrived very cold each time I've placed an order. I'm used to delivery being a bit less hot than the restaurant, but this food comes actually cold, as if its been prepared then left in the fridge before being sent out.
