It may look like I ate 3/4 of the meal but no this was the portion I got, no sides by choice. 3 of these cost me $52. My nephew could finish 2 of these plates and he'd still will be hungry.... he's 7. I asked them to give me hot sauce on the side and they're so cheap they gave me one hot sauce amounting to a few tea spoons of sauce. I understand saving everywhere you can buy come on.Update: talked to someone who I believe was the owner or the manager. Super nice guy even though I was somewhat hostile. He offered me a full refund by which I was surprised because I don't think most restaurants willl do that, taking into consideration that the food I returned is now garbage.

If you need food for an event this is the place to order from! I can not say enough positive things about Greg. He is extremely helpful, communicative and professional. Greg was able to estimate the appropriate amounts of food we needed for our number of guests with ease. We had 80 + guests at our event and everyone was able to have what they wanted and more. Greg was able to accommodated everyones dietary requirements in regards to allergies, vegan/vegetarian diets & gluten free. Guests commented through the night on how delicious the meal was! This is also just a great restaurant in general!

Good Gluten Greek Food is hard to find in Vancouver , a friend of mine told me about Kalamaki Greek restaurant in south Surrey , also Iread a lot reviews from TripAdvisor , because I have a VIP business client she like her lunch Gluten Free ! I phone talk to a nice lady (Owner ) about the Gluten Free dishes , I was surprised she is very Knowledgeable about cross contamination, and the dishes , due to the current pandemic , they only offer take out or delivery , menu have a lot to choose from , also the Gluten Free menu not shabby at all , my client order her Vegan Chicken and the gluten free pita bread , she love every single bite , my Lamb Souvlaki amazing flavourful and delicious , meat is very tender and juicy, and some of my staffs Greek Wrap looks great , I also order the Whole Chicken Platela , Wow ! incredible taste , every one had a great lunch, price range is moderate , also all the food well packed and steaming hot , only one complaint is " Too Much Food " ! I love to Cancelled the meeting and take a nape ! lot of left over ! , I am looking forward to drop in for dinner when they open and thank them for the lovely food ! special the gluten free dishes . if you looking 100 % gluten food ,Kalamaki is the place ,I truly recommended it !

Its close to my work and I've been a few times, The last time I went was after work to pick up dinner - Just after 3pm, it was a ghost town, which is understandable, its a odd time to be busy. Got the calamari platter and chicken wrap to go. Fries are always good! But the Caesar salad was SO GROSS. I saw the cook pull a bowl out of the fridge toss it and put it in a container I thought it was weird I didn't see him add any dressing, I didn't realize he was giving me older pre-made salad. Legit it tasted like an old fridge and was so soggy. I've never had a bad Caesar salad till then. Now obviously when salad sits in a fridge with dressing on it its gonna get supppper soggy and sick. The calamari was also SUPER dry and i'm picky on that, so knowing that I asked for extra lemons......But the lemons they gave me were old as mold and had 0 juice. The wrap and fries were very good tho ill give them that. The rice is really nothing special either kinda bland. I understand it wasn't busy when I went but like...Hi.... I paid for a dinner to go I think I should still get fresh cooked food and not lunches leftovers..... Haven't been back and I'm not really eager to go back.

Celiac friendly. Amazing gluten free pita bread. They have a dedicated celiac menu and are very knowledgeable about cross contamination etc. Highly recommend!

Decent food, lacklustre portion-to-cost ratio. Before you ask, I’ve always ordered the house specials and never even tried the lunch menu. I also skimmed through the reviews and responses, found that this is a pretty common complaint.I’ve been involved in running a family-owned eatery enough to understand it’s hard to make ends meet. With all that said, I still stand by that the overall value of the meals are a still fairly overpriced. Co-workers stopped going here for food runs because they feel the same way. Been to maybe a dozen greek places throughout the lower mainland and by comparison, Kalamaki charges higher per portion than some places in neighbourhoods which generally have higher rent cost.If this many people point this issue out, you might want to consider the issue a bit more in-depth. I do like the food and service here, so am hoping to see this place do well in the long run.

The food was ok but felt absolutely ripped off and hungry as hell after. I’m not sure who in there right mind would try to sell you a snack for the price of a meal. My finger is fatter then the shi kabob they gave me, it was the most thin one I’ve seen in my life! And to buy another one I saw it’s $8!!! Also was told to come and get the food in 15 minutes. Came after 15 and waited 20 minutes in the store. This place makes me hangry!
