I came in on Wednesday prepared to place an order for a upcoming event. Of about $100+. They were not open yet, I said I was just there to place and pay for my order . For March 10th. They said have a seat. I waited and waited as people scurried around after about 15 minutes I left and went to togu sushi at Guildford Mall. They helped and were so accommodating. TOO BAD MAGURO.

Tucked away in the north side of the plaza is a cozy and quiet sushi place. The food was spectacular for the price and service is quick. The server was attentive in refilling tea and also serving the dining area. The restaurant is also open later than the food court nearby in the mall on weekdays with lots of parking in front.

Been here a couple times now. Prices are super affordable and the service is great and food is prepared quickly. The food was really fresh and tasty both times. I’ll keep coming back with friends and recommending to everyone I know.

go to sushi place for years. my favourites are the philidephlia roll, star roll, butterfly roll, and sashimi box. the main waitress also solo oversees takeout, phone ins, and online orders yet she is still attentive. it is only reasonable to have patience as customers.

I got the chicken teriyaki bento box, which was portioned quite well. Miso soup, small salad, one slice of fruit, the chicken teriyaki on a bed of rice and bean sprouts, 8-piece California roll, and 5-piece tempura (prawn, sweet potato, yam, kabocha, and broccoli). Served with a green tea as well. The saving grace of this bento box is the tempura. Crispy and tender--it was a delight for my soft mouth. I really liked the sweet potato in particular. The pieces were on the smaller side but no complaints from me considering the price. The California roll was smaller than average, the taste was strange, and the texture was off. I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Maybe the imitation crab was the issue? The rice for the chicken teriyaki was very off. Some parts were mushy, some parts were HARD, and some parts were regular. Rice shouldn't be hard. The chicken itself had a nice crispy skin, but it wasn't too juicy and the teriyaki sauce was just okay. Salad was okay with a sweet vinegary dressing. The place was empty when I came for a weekday lunch. Service was fast and to the point, and the food came out quickly. The area is mostly booth tables that seat around four to five people. Lots of seating around. Although it's one of the cheapest options in the Guildford area for sushi, I would rather pay more somewhere else for better quality. Overall it was eatable and good enough, but I wouldn't choose to come back as I like better quality food.

Always come here for their special as it's near the t&t/food court. Great value on their deals and nigiri. Up until Vancouver coming from Abbotsford this is the only sushi place I prefer(not in quality but in value) for getting myself a weekly treat. For top quality spots expect to pay almost double or more. My retirement plan hopes to include weekly omakase but I'm not quite there yet :)

Restaurant is clean and has nice large tables. Sushi is fresh and tasty. Preparation time and cost are very reasonable. Food looks attractive. Small drink selection but many drink vendors are nearby. I would go back. Yum.Vegetarian options: You can have vegetarian rolls and sushi.Parking: Easy parking as it is in the T&T mall.Watch-out for drivers carelessly zooming behind your car as you back-up, better still back into your parking stall.Kid-friendliness: I've seen several families with kids in there as I have walked by.There is no play room in any of the business in that mall.

Our first time here for a quick protein load. We had their Shrimp Skewers, Pork Gyoza and Grilled Squid which is the best we’ve tasted. Price was okay and service was good too. We will surely be back.

Rude. We were sitting waiting to order but they ignored us and took order feom the Asian customer first and when I complained I got a dirty look back. I am not a regular customer but now I am not surprised to see a sushi place with only two customer at this time of the day.
