When I always looked at this restaurant from outside many times , I never saw a single customer. I felt the urge to try this place once, so I went there for dinner with my family. The ambience feels like a good old sea food restaurant, they have many varieties of sea food. They have mostly sea food and few items in chicken. They also serve beer and wine. There is only a single guy working at this restaurant who takes the order and prepares food. Hard to follow his accent, as we were first timers ,inspire of asking, he didn't tell us what was the best combination to order,Food was overall average , most of the items I ordered turned out to be deep fried and crispy. Less spicy also. This place is in a location where mostly south Asians live. This food may not be liked by them.Overall average experience , I felt so excited and was later let down.

The fish is great. The guy is constantly cleaning! Amazing prices and huge portions. They are both very friendly. Most places serve half the size with higher costs and lower quality. I recommend everything on the menu.

Quality has gone down and portion size is smaller, the fish only tastes acceptable with the tartar sauce, but without it absolutely bland. I mean support local businesses but it’s difficult especially with the quality they offer.

This is the second time that I have ordered from here. The lunch special price is affordable and plenty of food. However, I feel like the guy doesn't like people. Now, I found this in my chips. I am done with this place. So glad there is other fish and chips restaurants out there. Also, you have to pay for lemon wedges separately.Parking: It's in a plaza so it's a shared parking lot.

I just walk by this place today just to taste the food my first time I ordered basic fish and chip to go . But I was disappointed by the quality of the food fries taste like rubber no salt pepper . fish no taste at all flavorless . as someone who knows the taste of good food you need to improve in the quality of food you are serving customers and change your oil regularly ..

This was, by far, the WORST fish and chips I've ever had..... and that's saying something! The chips we raw in the middle and the oil made them taste dreadful. The fish was a mass of very greasy batter with a very thin layer of pappy, soggy fish inside. Awful....... and, as the final straw, they didn't have malt vinegar!! (I would give zero stars if I could) ...... DON'T waste your time or money..... go to C-Lovers in Langley instead.

I encountered this little hole-in-the-wall shop by accident while searching for a place to try the fish and chips in Canada (I came to visit from the US), and all the other locations had already closed, so I said why not? The rating was 3 stars, but I didn't want to dock points before giving it a go. When my family and I arrived, there was only one man working--my guess is that he was the owner--and he welcomed us warmly, even offered his recommendation for what to try. The four of us all ended up getting the regular 2-piece fish and chips, though you can also choose salmon, halibut, or snapper instead. He told us it would only be a 15- to 20-minute wait. We were the only guests there, but there were so many seats that I thought 6pm probably wasn't a busy time. It was pretty quiet inside, but it was pleasant to hear the sizzling in the kitchen. You could tell that the fish was cooked from scratch, maybe even came fresh off the boat. Each piece was huge. They were so crispy and tender they just melted in your mouth, and they weren't overly breaded. The fries were a little on the soft side, but paired really well with the tartar sauce. The coleslaw was amazing on its own, with a slight tang and light creaminess. The only things missing were the traditional malt vinegar and lemon wedge! Other than that, I would still rate this place 5 stars because of the friendly service, the sheer mass of the fish, and he prepared eight fish plus fries and coleslaw in an astounding 20 minutes! Next time I visit Canada, I will surely be dropping by this shop again, and I highly recommend everyone give it a try before you make any judgment.

Went there while visiting Canada from the U.S. was very impressed. I swear I got the whole fish. HUGE portions and EXTREMELY tasty. Was a last second choice on the way back to apartment where I stayed as a tourist. We made the right decision. As a family of 4, it was enough fish for 8 people. Better than the fish and chips I got in England. Don't knock it because it's a Chinese owned business. He knows what he is doing. Will definitely go there again on my next visit.

This place was filthy dirty and the food was disgusting.I took the family there we looked around as we waited for our food.I noticed spider web's everywhere and dirt in all corners. The food arrived and the look of it was terrible so we just got up and left, never going there again.Reported them to Fraser Heath but obviously he was on the take. This place used too be good years ago with previous owners, no longer.

Sticky floors? Check. Sticky tables? Check. Large portions? Sure! Quality? What quality? Please let this place die silently and quickly. The fish had chewy batter, had fish bones, and was not flaky or moist whatsoever. Some greasy places serve great food. This restaurant had just greasy furniture and floors if you're into that kind of thing. I felt bad for the soles of my shoes after stepping into there. As a matter of fact I blame myself for thinking it was going be ok eating here. So zero stars for my choice to come here but atleast you reading this offers a glimmer of hope to just let these type of businesses quietly disappear.
