Didn’t take pictures of the food but the quality was really good. Came in not expecting much but probably the best tonkatsu place around. The quantity and quality were great. Price is a bit higher than I’d like but no complaints paying for the better quality. The batter isn’t too thick, also really well balanced with the quantity. They have an offer of unlimited rice, soup, and salad. But the quantity they give makes you not have to rely on the fillers. The salad is very finely chopped which is great but the miso soup was a bit too watered down but not bad. This will be my go to place for tonkatsu going forward ??

If this person wants to be in service industry? then serve people with genuine care, passion, and a positive attitude. Providing excellent customer service can significantly impact a customer's experience and their likelihood of returning.. Don't give that attitude that make people never want to go back again!!A warm smile and attentive service can make all the difference in creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Good value. The pork loin is tasty and good quality. Decent size too. The rice, cabbage, and tonkatsu sauce were average. They use yellow pickled radish for the side pickles, but I prefer different type of pickles for my tonkatsu.

The perfectly fried loin is tender and refreshing. The Japanese curry sauce is also very authentic.

Great crust! Light and flakey. But could use more flavour in the pork. Liked grinding the sesame fresh for the sauce.
Absolutely amazing. The pork cutlet tonkatsu is GIGANTIC, is larger than my two hands combined!! Service was excellent, they gave us a free side dish because of a little long waiting. Recommended.

Large portions and very deliciousHad lunch here. Ordered the pork tenderloin katsu curry and the pork tenderloin katsu. Food came fast and portions are giant. You grind your own sesame seeds for the katsu tray and the rice, miso soup and slaw are BOTTOMLESS. We were lucky enough to enjoy 10% off takeout and eat in during their December promotion. The katsu is light crisp and full of flavour. The curry is full bodied and smooth. I prefer the curry over the traditional katsu dish that comes with the tangy sauce. We paid more for the tenderloin cut vs loin which was totally worth it as the meat was beautifully tender. In comparison to Saboten and Katsu Langley I’d place Mr Tonkatsu as number one but Katsu Langley has a better presentation. Daeji Cutlet House doesn’t even rate by comparison .

The tenderloin Katsu with extra meat comes with double the meat. Included is: miso soup, rice, cabbage salad, water and sauce (you grind the sesame seeds yourself). The serving size is good and the breading is not too greasy. Overall the quality is good but the main thing lacking for the katsu, sauce, and cabbage salad is seasoning and salt. Everything tasted a bit bland.
