Please listen to the other reviews. Food is stale and probably not safe to eat. Avoid at all costs.

My parents brought me here when I was a kid and I brought my kids here in the 1990s. Now it is a Kitchen Take Out with the same great food they always made, with no MSG.

Rickshaw is not meant to be fancy, decadent, or anything chic; I found it a touch disturbing that some people expected something along the lines of a Michelin-starred restaurant. It is a basic, Chinese-Canadian restaurant - nothing more. I can only write on the fact I've ordered through Skip and not eaten there. It is exactly what it is supposed to be - fast, filling, and decent food. Even ordering for delivery, where prices are usually exorbitant, it is affordable and the portion sizes are exceptionally large. It's filling food for a good price. Maybe not the best place for your tenth anniversary date, but you won't be hungry for a while after you eat.

There was a metal staple in my fried rice and when I called about it the lady on the phone yelled at me and ultimately hung on up me. No refund..so now I have to dispute the charge on my card

I. Used to love this restaurant when it was across the street from where it is now but since the move, the food is not fresh if you get delivery, it came to me with hard and cold chicken balls. Chow mein noodles were super oily n it was just poor quality. Normally I'd give them 4 stars but tonight it was nasty. Spend a lot of money every month ordering in from them but think tonight was my last time unless i go on to dine

Terrible food. Best way to describe the food here is “an elementary and effortless take on Chinese food”. Save your money and eat somewhere else. I ordered from Uber Eats, Im not exaggerating when I say that I’m nearly in tears from how bad this food is. I checked and I can’t even get a refund :(

Rickshaw restaurant was a well known Chinese food restaurant for decades the best food families gathered here for special occasions mine was 1 of them when visiting relatives came to town this was the place everyone went to , the food was amazing the owners treated you as family they took such pride in having such a successful restaurant . The Rickshaw neon sign was like a well known land mark . It saddens me to see it is reduced to this now , the food is almost inedible , I should have known when the driver was at my door within 10 mins of ordering , the egg rolls were so salty inside I could not even swallow it , the almond chicken that sat on top of burnt almond chicken was not cooked through the batter was doughy , the chicken balls were bland no seasoning the fried rice was so greasy and not fresh but reheated I spent almost 100.00 for food that is now in my organics such a waste there was only 1 item that I did like which was the wor won ton soup , perhaps the owners could look into opening a soup , and sand which shop , just please stop killing the Rickshaw Legacy we all remember R.I.P. The prices advertised on the restaurant menu flyers is 2 years old says the cashier, we learnt this after we got our bill and paid at least $10 more than the advertised price...left a bad taste in our mouths....same thoughts on the food.First and last try of this restaurant, I'm afraid.

Ordered from skip the dishes as we hadn’t found a good American-style Chinese place since we moved here. Food was delicious, we will be ordering again!

Really disappointing experience trying this place! And it was an error. With friends, trying to find a place that delivers Chinese food. As I do, I look on my trusty Yelp to see reviews. It didn't look good! However, my friend missed that snd ordered anyways. Delivery was pretty quick and portions/prices were at par. We ordered sweet and sour pork (you can't mess that up), spareribs (overly salty and meat ratio was not good), veg chow mien (soggy noodles and no flavor - although the broccoli was so crisp and perfect), spicy tofu (good but a vibrant red hue which I have never seen before), and veg chop suey (terrible - it was as if they tossed all the soon to expire veg). Not good! And the reviews really point to that so I would add - pass!

Believe all the reviews. Absolutely the worst Chinese food you could possibly eat.

Ordered the 5 items for 1 deal, it used to be in 5 different dishes. Got everything in 1 dish & the order was wrong. They sent pork fried rice, we ordered 2 orders of chicken chow Mein, got a half scoop of that. Got a small scoop of sweet & sour pork, ordered 2 of those also. $35 for a meal I couldn't eat. Waste of time (90 minutes for delivery) & money. Can't go in to eat either because it's only takeout or delivery.
