We live in the Granview district of South Surrey, White Rock. There are lots of different restaurants so we like to try different places. We've passed by S+L Kitchen many times and finally decided to go there for lunch. It was a weekday, so I knew it wouldn't be very busy. It was very nice inside, a very retro look and clean. We were greeted right away and seated anywhere we liked since it wasn't busy. Our waitress came quickly and took our drink orders. After bringing our drinks we ordered our food. I had the salmon bowl, and my wife had the lobster bisque. My salmon bowl came with a nice size piece of salmon. It was very tasty, and the veggies were really good. My wife thought her bisque should have had a little more lobster in it. All in all the food and service was very good. Will certainly go there and try dinner.

Justine our host/server, did an outstanding job of making us feel welcome and ensured our dining experience was just perfect. Since we are quite often guests at S&L Restaurant & Bar, others like Morgan, came by to greet us and acknowledged our being there. That's often rare in restaurant service today however, it's much appreciated. Our appetizers and entrees are always wonderfully prepared and presented in a professional manner. The selections are plentiful, as are the portions. Our choice of the sirloin steak in the 3 course Dine out Vancouver feature, was award winning! Excellent! Thank you JRG (Joseph Richard Group)! I had the Filet steak with the bacon cream corn and mashed potatoes. I also got the lobster chowder to go. I must say, that's probably the best meal I've had in at least a year. Definitely worth the money. And the service was amazing.

Ordered takeout here - harvest chicken and a New york strip loin. The chicken breast was delicious however the vinegar from the pickled beets that were part of the vegetable medley totally overpowered any other flavour. The New York steak was decidedly undercooked for a medium and not very tender. The pull apart bread didn't seem like it was baked today, and was barely dusted with the padano cheese.

Sea and Land, but it’s really should be Super+Licious !!!Whatever you think it stands for, you should at least make your way to the “BEST” Surrey experience that we've had so far.This place is upscale, casual, sports bar, lounge, date night, fam night, girls night, guys night… all rolled up into one amazing spot. If you want it, they got it. And the VIBE… let’s just say, you need to go to know what I mean.Just an FYI* Tuesday and Wednesday = 1/2 price select wine bottles.* Friday and Saturday evenings = LIVE MUSIC.* Canuck Games = be here as you can watch and listen to all the play by play as they turn the volume UP!The food is excellent here. If you like BACON (and who really doesn’t) their Artisan Bacon is SOOOOO Amazing. And if you like a little Surf and Turf - lobster, crabs... does pair well with serious CUTS of Beef, like wagyu, strip steak, ribeye … and surprisingly, the Turf that we liked best, their Harvest Chicken (don’t ask, just order) and finish with a Skillet Cookie!Service was off the chart. Im not even playing around when I say this. But the Master Chicken is without a shadow of a doubt the best fried chicken on the planet. Not only that but it might be my favourite dish of all time. If I was stranded on a desert island and could only eat one thing for the rest of my life it would be Master Chicken. Chef David Jorge deserves a standing ovation which he got when he won season 2 of master chef Canada. Thanks for making the best thing ever made on planet earth and I mean that with no sarcasm or no notion of this being a joke. I’m dead serious. The saying “It’s the best thing since sliced bread” should be changed legally to “The best thing since Chef David Jorge’s Master Chicken.” But even then the phrase would probably never be used again because there will literally never be anything better than Master Chicken. I hope I get to shake your hand one day, while holding a bucket of your chicken in my other hand. I’d rate this chicken infinity stars out of 5 if that was possible. Thank you sincerely David.

Great food, extremely nice atmosphere. We came here for a nice Saturday night dinner and my one complaint is the service. Our waiter was confused quite often. He asked for my name and my wife’s name only to forget it thirty seconds later and call my wife a totally different name. That’s fine, it happens. I ordered an appetizer and the waiter assumed it was for the whole table instead of just for my wife and myself. After appetizers the waiter never came back to check on drinks or clear the table, we sat for maybe another 25-30 minutes before we got service again and at that point dinner was being brought out. After dinner our waiter again had to ask what our names were and who was with what couple and how we are going to distribute the bills for a second time. To be honest, either he was nervous or extremely forgetful and basically ignored our table unless it was time to bring food out.

We loved our date night at this location. The food was delicious and our server Anshul was so kind and friendly. The environment is fun visually, but chill and a mix of family friendly but also classy. We’re excited to come back and try more menu items. Highly recommend the Harvest chicken.

Our service was great. The food was great. Unfortunately for our date night we were seated in the middle of the restaurant in a brightly lit area rather than a more appropriate area for a date night. It would've been nice to be in the darker corner areas of the restaurant

Decent place given the area. Chill atmosphere although it does get busy and loud sometimes.Disappointing beer list. I mean dreadful. There are so many options for local craft within 15-20 minutes from here and none of them are on tap. It's not excusable. I don't get it. In summary... boooooo
