Unfortunately I agree with a few of the latest reviews about strangely high prices & low quality Baklava.I came in wanting Pistachio Baklava, Walnut Baklava, Meat pies & Spinach pies. Both of the pies I wanted were frozen, so I settled with 3x Zaatar & 4x Cheese. I was charged 10$ per package. 4x Cheese for 10$ seems fine, but 3x Zaatar for 10$? That must've been a mistake. Wildly high. Even though the pies weren't what I originally wanted, they were probably an 8/10.I was told that the only baklava had walnut inside & Pistachio on top. There was nothing on top, just Walnuts inside. Honestly the Baklava was like a 2/10.Edit: Fast response from the owner. Offered compensation via Email. I appreciate the quick turnaround.

After reviewing the restaurant's menu online, I visited the shop to purchase some baklava. Inquiring about the freshness of the pastry, I asked the attendant if it was fresh, to which he affirmed. I further inquired if the baklava was made on a daily basis, to which the attendant advised that they are produced twice a week as they have an extended shelf life. Trusting his response, I procured the confectionery and brought it home. Upon opening the package, I was disappointed to discover a putrid odor emanating from the baklawa, and the flavor was so unpleasant that it was unsuitable even for animals.Subsequently, I contacted the attendant and expressed my concerns about the quality of the baklawa, stating my intention to have it tested and to follow up with him shortly. Unfortunately, the attendant was dismissive and demonstrated a lack of empathy, failing to express any form of regret or apology. Regrettably, this was my initial experience at the shop, and I have resolved not to patronise it again.

The bakery is charging more than posted prices on their menu. It is cheating and I refused to be a victim of it. When talked to the person behind the counter, he very arrogantly told me to leave the store.
No debit machine.
Love their stone oven bakings, fresh daily.
