This sushi place used to be awesome and delicious! Sadly, over the last several months the taste and quality is hit or miss. I’ve tried several times to go back and try again because the staff are great and it was amazing, and I just can’t spend the money here anymore to see what kind of meal I’ll get. I’m not exactly sure what the problem is lately. The rice tastes just off. Used to be fluffy and sticky. The chicken in the donburi and the beef are either tender and yummy or chewy and dry. The yam in the yam yam roll my last visit wasn’t even cooked thoroughly. It’s too bad, was a great place! Hopefully they can make the adjustments needed to bring it back to 5 star food as the staff are very nice and the restaurant is very clean and cared for. Cute booths and tables and all.

I have no idea how this place has a 4.3 rating because this was the worst sushi I’ve ever had in all of lower mainland. We are sushi lovers and we didn’t even finish this sushi. It wasn’t fresh, tasted old and not good at all. They drench the Agadeshi tofu in cheap chili oil sauce instead of the gyoza sauce it comes with from every sushi place. The service wasn’t good she wasn’t friendly at all when I asked for a different sauce and inside is run down. Would never go back.
