“Okay, so, we'll get to the food in a while. But first, I wanna talk about the most important part of any business: the PEOPLE.There was 2 guys there. The younger guy cooking, who when I came in he was nice, polite and welcoming. Nice guy.The older gentlemen (who I assume to be the proprietor), however, was the kindest most welcoming and accomidating person of any business I've ever met. He was Kind, welcoming, social, and very forward and open with a greeting upon entering the room. He was very attentive to my needs, asked if I needed things. Talked happily and even opened the door for me when I left. He was by far the best owner of any business I've ever seen!It's Thursday night around 6:30. I ordered a veggi pizza and large Greek saladNow, I'm not gonna lie, I m NOT a fan of the Neopolitan style of pizza and ive never found one I ever liked.... UNTIL NOW!THE PIZZA WAS GREAT. The crust and the mushrooms had a smoky hint of flavour. All the ingredients were so fresh and the crust was cooked perfectly and had a beautiful texture.The pizza was good, sure. But the star of the evening was clearly the Greek salad!!My expectations were ow, as most small pizza places in small towns are usually the same sad subpar Greek salads. So I was amazed. SHOCKED even!!! The salad was simply amazing. Superb! The prepandcare taken in making it. The freshness. The flavours, this salad was so good it didn't even need dressing!The food was as kind and warming as the smiles of the man who runs this place.At first I thought it was a bit expensive for the area were in based on quantity, but the quality far makes up for, and surpasses what I was ready for. “A great place to eat and socialize folks are friendly - we moved a year ago to Thornhill and live a block away which is awesome. The staff are awesome food is always great.”

“Previously if you wanted Lola’s you’d have to stand in a long line at the farmer’s market but not anymore! Now in a permanent location (same plaza as Misty River Books) they have a handful of tables that seat two. A popular lunch spot for good reason. They also have lots of pre-made takeaway options as well.”

“Lucky Garden is our favourite Chinese restaurant in Terrace. We love the BBQ pork fried rice, cashew chicken, ginger beef and deep fried spring rolls. Service is friendly and fast!!”

“The quality of the fish is always top notch in the sushi, sashimi, nigiri, tempura, and tataki menu items. The service from many different servers is consistently friendly, and attentive. They can always answer questions about the food and drink items on the menu. The specials for rolls and cocktails are a nice touch. Ordered the spicy roll on special the last time with jalapeno slices which was very good. The Alaska and Northern Lights rolls were excellent. The simple items are always quality too, like the edamame and miso soup. Their seaweed salad has a crispness and is better than other local sushi places. There are several options for sake, and Japanese beers. The tables are laid out well for the size of the restaurant with about 4 chairs for bar seating.Kid-friendliness: My kids have eaten here many times and enjoy it”

“A bunch of us from work went to Terrace last saturday, to bowl and have dinner at Boston Pizza. We ended up having to reduce our group from 20 to 14 and the resturaunt was able to make the change. It was saturday night and the place had a fair number of dinners, our appatizers and drinks came in good time. The staff we interacted with were all nice and all 14 mains came out relatively around the same time, no complaints there.The only complaint I'd say is my coworker sitting across from me had the lasagna and Boston pizzas lasagna sucks. They need to seriously do better on that.Its just noodles with meat sauce.Me and my coworker to my left had the spicy chicken sandwiches with onion rings, that was super delicious. Really really great chicken sandwich. Onion rings were nice but its a $4 up charge and needs more onion rings for that to be acceptable.Also of note my bosses boss had the new square pepperoni with bacon and it looked great and he said it was the best thing he's ever had at a BPs and really great pizza on its own.The manager was also of note as being great to interact with.One thing they need to address is the wall behind us was in rough shape where people had backed chairs into it? Its a real quick fix overnight, and should be fixed right away.Vegetarian options: Lots of meatless options between pizza and pasta.Kid-friendliness: Children welcome, very much family friendly.”

“Beyond the food being delicious, these people went above and beyond. In 38 degree weather when I couldn't pick up my food, a wonderful lady delivered to us. The ginger pork was so good and the delivery lady was so nice. Thank you, Golden Star staff!”
