“Great to find an all vegan restaurant while visiting Tofino! Bao Buns were our favourite of what we ordered. Our server was really friendly and helpful with other vegan suggestions around town. Would definitely come back on a future visit!Kid-friendliness: Had a high chair for our little one and a colouring sheet for our older son.“

“This was me and my wife's first time in Tofino. A friend of ours who grew up here recommended we go to 'The Pointe' for brunch. From the moment you walk in, the ambience and decor are beautiful. It's rare to experience a place attempting to do something unique and true to the local culture without coming off as pretentious or faux. I believe The Pointe is one of the few places that pulls it off. From the wine display at the front, to the long, meticulously decorated bar, and finally the exceptional view that immediately draws your attention as you enter the dining space. All this alone was enough to convince me this wouldn't be the last time I'd visit this restaurant. The servers and staff were extremely professional, welcoming, and accommodating. The general layout of the dining room was comfortable and the space between tables felt sufficient enough to not feel as though you were encroaching on any other patrons. To begin our meal, we ordered two glasses of the in-house, fresh, juice of the day. It was quite good and refreshing. The coffee was good and the server was prolific at checking whether or not the mug was topped up. For my main I ordered the eggs benedict special of the day; Which consisted of their english muffin, Topped with a lamb prosciutto, a poached egg, sea asparagus, and hollandaise. Along with their 'Rösti' potato, and a side of arugula. The dish was nicely constructed and had a good balance of flavour. Starting from the bottom-up, the english muffin I found to be on the disappointing side; although it served its purpose of being a bready conduit for the dish, I felt it was slightly undertoasted, under buttered, and lacked the notable flavour and dense crumb of a high-quality, in house made english muffin. The lamb prosciutto was a quite interesting take on a classic cured meat. It was a hardier, slightly thicker, and more spiced version of the traditional pork prosciutto. Almost like a prosciutto with a Moroccan inspiration. Which worked. The egg, which I ordered medium poached, came closer to easy. It didn't detract from the meal, but in a restaurant of this caliber egg cook times should be perfectly consistent. The hollandaise was good, and the sea asparagus garnish was a fun way to substitute the classic chive. The arugula was a nice addition for bitter-peppery garnish. The Rösti was fantastic! Crispy on the outside, light and soft on the inside. We also ordered a pancake to split as a side. It was precisely what you'd expect from a pancake. In my opinion, there is no need for them to stray from a traditional pancake, especially since it is just a side dish that is not advertised as being something it isn't.All in all, it was a very enjoyable dining experience. Looking out their glass wall at the endless expanse of ocean, and beautiful, crashing waves on the rocks down below. Gives each bite a moment which is rarely found, and seldomly remembered.“
