Hearty servings, amazing service! We always get the falafel bowls and they hit the spot every time. Creamy hummus, crispy and fluffy falafels.

I moved to Vancouver last June, and can safely say this has been my favourite restaurant experience so far. The service was fantastic, everything arrived to our table in a timely manner & the food was nothing short of excellent. Me and my girlfriend still smile about our experience here! Cannot wait to come back, highly recommend the Baklava & Gelato for dessert!Dietary restrictions: Entirely Vegan!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I am lucky to have eaten at Aleph for dinner/snacks/the special feature menu a number of times and could not recommend it enough.I was able to chat with Carlos who served us and the head chef with tattoos, Carla about her Valentine's feature menu (a series of creative appetizers that are each basically pieces of edible art) who were both an absolute dream.Would recommend the walnut dip (muhammara), silk road hummus, the shish kebab, cauliflower, the aleppo potatoes.

Gorgeous little spot on Powell. The food here is always incredible. The hummus is probably the best I've ever had. (The silk road one, it's actually mesmerizing, served with labneh, zaatar, date syrup) *chefs kiss*Served by the fantastic Carlos who was super nice, helpful and has the best smile ever! Will definitely be back. <3

A very yummy vegan restaurant with high quality ingredients and flavour dishes. The place is warm and bright, and filled with fantastic smell coming from the kitchen. The restaurant is situated in away from most of the busy areas but loyal patrons fill their seats soon as they open. Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Vegan, gluten free

The pita was rock hard. Almost broke a tooth. We asked to try the gluten-free pita instead and it tasted like a raw flour taco shell-couldn’t even swallow it. And they even charged us $10 for it!The falafel was very dry and bland.Service was extremely slow. They have one server on a Sunday night. The hummus was okay but didn’t taste fresh either.Food was just not good and did not taste fresh. 10/10 would not recommend.

Food is fantastically flavourful. If you're just having a main course ask the server what the portion size is. I had the mushroom kebab main....no starter, and I had to eat when I got home because my main was truly just a starter portion size - it was so small I was taken aback. But if you like cocktails you have to try the beet and gin one - to die for.

Solid vegetarian restaurant. Was very happy with all the options and everything was very delicious.I really loved the potato dish, was so creamy.Their olive oil cake was also a very nice combination of textures.Lastly, I had the cardamom coffee which was honestly one of the best cups of coffee I've ever had. Didn't need any cream or sugar.Highly recommend. My only complaint is that it's a bit pricey, but that's true of everywhere these days.
