I feel compelled to express a concern regarding its operations:It's apparent that the café often operates with just one barista, particularly during the bustling weekends. Witnessing a hardworking individual managing the rush, I can't help but feel a sense of unease. Drawing from my own experience in the food service industry, I earnestly believe that augmenting the team size during shifts, perhaps to 2-4 baristas, is crucial. Not only would this enhance the quality of service for patrons, but it would also alleviate the strain on the dedicated staff. It pains me to see potential customers departing due to lack of attention – a situation that could be remedied with adequate staffing.Other than that, I absolutely adore this café in Vancouver – it holds a special place in my heart as my ultimate sanctuary for productivity!

Arbutus Coffee is a hidden gem in the heart of the city. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to unwind or catch up with friends. The coffee is expertly brewed, and the pastries are delightful. I highly recommend trying their signature latte for a comforting yet delicious experience. It's definitely a place worth visiting for any coffee enthusiast.

Stopped by a couple weeks ago while in the area for vacation. While cute, the coffee was bitter, food was dry and the whole place seemed grungy. Also noticed what looked like mice droppings in one of the corners. Wouldn't go back even if I lived in the

The coffee was cold, and the moment we asked the barista to heat it up for us, she stirred it and burned it, the place is nice, but the coffee was somewhat disappointing.
Iced vanilla latte was $9 and the baristas don't even look at you. Latte is also mid tier aswell.

Drip coffee is weak and overpriced. They go ahead and dump the cream in for you so you get a fun watery surprise.
Nice place to sit and relax. Beautiful paintings. Coffee was okay.
Delicious and hidden gem in Vancouver. A must try if youre around town. Thanks Arbutus Coffee!
