I ordered lamb shank pilaf from ubereats, I had eaten before it was really good. Probably they used leftovers lamb skewers for this time. It’s a disappointed and not worth the price...

We came here unplanned looking for a halal place to break our fast during Ramadan. It was our first time to try Uyghur cuisine. We were welcomed with a iftar complimentary dates and cookies. We ordered lamb dumplings, stir fried chicken noodles and lamb skewers. The food was amazing. A blend of middle eastern and Chinese. We would definitely visit again.

We ordered the cucumber salad, diced leghmen, stir-fried leghmen, lamb pilaf, lamb skewers, wonton soup, and lamb dumplings. All the food tasted really fresh and tasty. I really loved the wonton soup. The atmosphere was really cozy and the background music was nice. The customer service was very friendly. If you’re looking for autenthic Uyghr food or a good halal place would definitely recommend. Overall great experience would come again.

Food was delicious! We ordered blueberry lemonade, the lamb dumplings, big plate chicken, and the stir-fry diced leghman. The portion sizes were large and filling. Server and atmosphere were nice! Would definitely go back and recommend!

This is an attractive restaurant from the outside and may seem like an interesting and fun choice. The dining experience is honesty terrible. The quality of food is not great. I got 3 burned skewers that did not resemble the menu. They ran out of lamb during my dinner service. The sticky, dirty tables and menus were unacceptable. Bathrooms with no soap or paper towels. A peak into the kitchen and these guys would not make it.

We visited Baghven Uyghur Restaurant today to try for the first time and it was a great experience. We were greeted and served by the owner herself and had a pleasant conversation with her. It is a family run restaurant and everything is handmade fresh daily, the food is also Halal. The food was fantastic, we had the Lamb Dumplings, Lamb Pilaf and Big Plate Chicken. The atmosphere is very cozy inside with many pictures framing cultural heritage from Uyghur itself. We'll definitely be coming back to try more menu items.

First day in Vancouver and i heard alot of good things about this Uyghur restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and the server attended to me very quickly. Recommended to try the homemade samsa and the uyghur special chicken plate. The Samsa was very flavourful, though the only thing that I would pinpoint was the lamb smell which was super evident. Alot of meat was used and the breading they used was super crispy. The chicken plate had so much flavour and tasted very good. They definitely didnt skimp on the amount of meat they used. 3 of us shared the big plate and there was still some food left.Definitely would recommend this place to anyone that would want to help support a local muslim restaurant and want to try this cuisine.Overall is a 8/10 experience

Authentic Uyghur Cuisine with outstanding friendly service. Noodles dishes are recommended as well as their home made yogurt drinks.

We found this place a while ago on the way to get the courier next door, and spontaneously wanted to support Uyghur Cuisine. It was a quick visit as we were not hungry and we came back with one friend tonight.Service was helpful. We were told that they had to make big plate chicken fresh so they wanted to make sure we would be fine with the extra wait.We had lamb dumplings. Our friend was not into lamb so she was not a fan of this but we were. It came with eight pieces, and a super delicious sauce. It was like a mix of chilli oil with vinegar. We had the big plate chicken with noodle (small). We all loved it. The noodle was so fresh I would need more to soak in the yummy sauce! It was spicy in a different way. It was not like hot sauce that burned your tongue and gave you tears, but heated you up a little bit with lots of flavours. We also have a braised lamb feet (small). It tasted a bit similar to the big plate in the way it gave you a little kick by its flavours. Even my friend who was not into lamb enjoyed this. I really liked the skin and tendon on the lamb.Portions were big so one appetizer and two main dishes (small) were already a bit too much for three of us.We were very curious about honey cake but it was only available for pre-order. We would definitely come back for that another time!

My family went to this restaurant today. We all had very good experience. The restaurant usually opens at 5pm, but we didn't check the time ahead, we went there at 4:30pm. Luckily they let us in May be They see we come with kid. Thanks for that as we all are hungry at that time. The food is very good, it is truly XinJiang style, personally I lived in XinJiang when I was young so I know that taste well.
