First and last time there! service is really quite slow. They weren’t able to prepare some of the menu’s dishes because of the poor planning. A recommendation for new costumers; don’t try tacos and be patient because you will need to ask several times for the glasses of water you ordered.

Super recommended. 100% traditional Michelada with sauces in the typical one-liter glass ?… Abundant portions and good prices.

We were there for the Cinco de Mayo boxing match. Filled with Mexican Canadian locals so it was a great atmosphere.Unfortunately, the food was poor quality. The nachos are served with the type of liquid fake cheeses you would see in our gas station nacho. And the beef quesadilla was cubed beef and barely any cheese inside of a softshell 6 inch tortillaLastly, as it was the only meal I had that day, I’m certain that it was the source of my food poisoning.

This is not a refined place, but charges refined prices. It´s overpriced for the quality of the food and atmosphere. The quality control for their food is very low, as the meat was chewy and the tortillas were rubbery. The cook didn´t realize this? I think is just that they don´t care, or they don´t know how to offer better food.On a positive note, they served me a decent sized side of nachos with a few toppings, which was actually better than the dish I ordered. The decoration is extra cheesy and cheap looking. The poor girl that served me tried to be nice, but was uneducated and uninterested. The bathrooms were not clean. There were used paper towels and toilet paper on the floor and no towels in the dispenser, even when I was the first customer of the day.No wonder it was almost empty.

The lady serving us was super sweet and the food was delicious! The carne asana nachos were great, and the taco + drink special for $20 was so worth it - quesabirria and pescado tacos were both excellent :)

As others have mentioned, service is really quite slow. Craziest part to me was after waiting 20 minutes for someone to take my To-go order, my food was ready in 5 and then sat on the "order-up" shelf for ANOTHER 20 Minutes. Absolutely wild

One Mexican friend recommended and we tried Sunday, but it was really disappointing. A lot of options was sold out, and comparing with other Mexican restaurants it was overpriced and weir menu, no pollo (chicken), no deserts, flautas, etc. try any other.

We've been curious for a while to check out this new restaurant on Cambie Street. Went for a late lunch today and ordered water, fish and carne asada tacos and nachos. The server returned a few minutes later to say they don't have nachos today, which was strange because the chips, salsa and guacamole she brought a few minutes later was more or less the ingredients for the nachos. They brought this massive tray of salsas and raw onions and guacamole that looked like baby food, all served with plastic spoons. It was desperately lacking flavour. When we got our tacos, it was simply fish and beef on the tortilla...served on a paper plate!!! No shredded cabbage, or crema, just fish and tortilla. Very uninspiring for the price. The atmosphere is like a sports bar and leaves little to be desired. Service was also bland. We had to ask a few times for our water. When we asked for the bill, they asked "do you have cash?" which was interesting to me. They do accept credit card (which requires you to follow all the prompts in Spanish) or pay cash. There was something about the place that felt off. I love the idea of having an authentic Mexican restaurant nearby, but this pales in comparison to places like Sal Y Limon who offer authentic and tasty food for less. Won't be going back.(Also, there is a sign by the entrance that says: We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles...not sure why this is necessary).

The best, most authentic tacos outside of Mexico that I’ve ever had! The taco chips and platter of different dips were equally amazing! Prices were very fair as well. I’ll certainly be back.
