The food tasted like it had been frozen, and was not fresh at all. I had the Yam fries and they were very stale, not warm at all. I envisioned Gordon Ramsey coming in and yelling at staff saying the food was not up to par.The server dropped ranch on the ground below us and although apologizing and wiping it once, there was still a ton of ranch on the ground that was starting to pool over people feet. The mess was not completely cleaned.

Exploring Vancouver and the sign outside caught our attention, so we had to check it out. Short walk from the steam clock located in Gastown. Everything was perfect ?. The gentleman reccomend me a lager that hit just right. We stopped in for lunch, and we were very happy with our choice. It was relaxing and relatively quiet for downtown Vancouver. We had the daily special, which was a soup and chicken wrap. They were both perfect.

Black Frog Eatery in Vancouver, Canada, offers a unique blend of Canadian and international cuisines in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. With its eclectic menu, the eatery presents an array of dishes that are both familiar and adventurous. The standout item is undoubtedly the poutine, which is rich in flavor and generously portioned. The service at Black Frog is warm and attentive, making diners feel right at home. The interior, with its dark wood and ambient lighting, creates an intimate vibe perfect for casual dining. Prices are reasonable, offering good value for the quality of food and experience.

Had a great time watching the Oilers game. Atmosphere was great, food was definitely above your standard pub grub (I need to know what the spicy sauce on the green onion cakes was), easy to get to. Yeah we had a wait but the door guy was doing a good job managing the flow. Will be back.

WOW!!! This charming bar is a stones throw away from the gas town steam clock - which is how we noticed it. We just wanted appetizers and a beer to bide some time. The staff was incredibly helpful in picking the best drink on the menu (for me), and we had the “yorkies” which were miniature Yorkshire pies. They were INCREDIBLE!!! Such a lovely unassuming spot. I cannot recommend enough!

We were at the end of a Ghost tour & passed the Black Frog & liked how it looked like an English pub. We went in after & a server with long blond hair asked us what we wanted to drink, we gave her our order. This place was rather small, so it shouldn't have taken 10 minutes to get our drinks. I noticed after 7 to 10 minutes, she came out of an alcove & went to her station, she forgot, it wasn't even busy! We got tired of waiting & decided to walk out. We went to the Blarney Stone pub, where a server got us drinks in under 5 minutes, much better service. My suggestion, hire competent staff who are friendly & professional & know how to do their jobs!
