Why did you take my Choo Chi Pla away? ???Update: Appalled. I used to be a 5-?weekly regular who lost their favourite dish, but this visit was told that they can’t make my mom’s Pad Thai less spicy and that my partner’s request of rice and sauce because dental surgery was an impossibility. Why?Thai Away Home on Cambie said yes, no trouble.

The food was incredible, the service was fast and polite, and everything was reasonably priced. Got the chicken lunch special for 16 CAD and that’s just incredible value. I’m just sad I don’t live closer
Speaking for their pad thai only, Bob Likes Thai Food is probably the best price-quality ratio pad thai I have had in all of Vancouver. At $20 (01.30.2024) portions were perfect, and quality and freshness reflected the price well. Our server was excellent and so friendly, and made sure we knew that protein substitutions were free (!) I asked for extra spicy and mild for my girlfriend and it was done perfectly, and had a nice smokiness from the wok. Flavour was very bright and balanced, and definitely authentic. Not too sweet or sour, and the rice noodle had plenty of chew to them.We got a Thai Milk Ice Tea as well as a complimentary Thai Lime Ice Tea (thank you!), and both were great, but the lime was incredible. Highly recommend the lime version; unlike anything I've tried! A well deserved 5 ⭐️, will come back for sure?

Pad Si Ew is my most ordered item on Uber eats. This restaurant has incredible food quality. The ingredients are always fresh and the dishes are consistently delicious every single time. There are many tasty items on their menu but I can’t emphasize enough that you have to try their Pad Si Ew. If you are on main st, this is the best comfort food you can get.
