Met a friend there to go and enjoy some brunch and conversation. The food was alright and the woman serving us was even pretty good, but as soon as my friend finished her meal, they quickly took her plate away and started asking me if I was finished too. I was asked 3 times before I finally allowed them to take my plate which still had uneaten food on it. Then quickly after my plate was gone, we got bills for our meals and another woman showed up with a credit card machine. I told her we weren’t finished and felt rushed but she said we had been there for an hour and 7 minutes so I guess they felt it was time for us to go. I personally felt insulted. I’ve never experienced this sort of treatment so if all you want is to to eat and then be rushed out, then you’ll enjoy this place. I DID NOT AND WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!

SO LOUD!!! It was painfully loud inside. I'm under 30 years old and I couldn't take it. They have horrible acoustics. I wouldn't go back just because of this alone. Though the food was also mediocre and disappointing. Pretty bland, the lamb had a weird flavor, and it was cold. The potatoes were good, but the eggs benny itself was not. Service was very slow. A table that came after us had their order taken before us and were in and out much quicker. One positive is that they have a good wait system. We were able to wait at home and keep an eye on our place in line before heading over. I don't think we'll be going back.

Food is very consistent every time here, service is superb, one downside is ventilation, you smell like breakfast for the whole

Update: A basic brunch spot. Nothing really stands out, nor are the price and portion size amazing. In my opinion, not worth the wait.********Unable to order take out. When called...it went straight to voice-mail.

Been a number of years since we were last at Breakfast Table. When we visited a few weeks ago, opted for the Hangover with two eggs, pork and sun dried tomato sausage, house made peppered bacon, mini gluten free waffle. Also ordered the cornflake crusted fried chicken and waffles with poached egg, sautéed mushroom bechamel, fried brussels sprouts, baby tomato, grana padano.Really good breakfast here and filling portions. Sausage and bacon always a good choice.

It was an interesting experience. Went for brunch with friends, but honestly felt like the place was just taking advantage of the Vancouver hype around lunch. It didn't necessarily feel like it deserved to be so full.Food was okay. I liked it, but it honestly wasn't spectacular. I had the chicken karaage hash and tried the eggs Benny and the special that my friends ordered. The food was good, but lacked a certain balance. It seemed to just be a mix of flavour profiles that matched and made you feel really heavy after eating. The price of tea was appalling considering they just gave you a bag and hot water.Overall I would probably go back, but not with the greatest gusto or enthusiasm.

Absolutely delicious! Cozy place with great service. I had the corn flake crusted fried chicken & waffle and my daughter had the vegan fried tofu and veggie hash, and we both agreed that this was the best thing we’ve ever had for brunch! Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options right down to the hot sauce.

This is the best breakfast in the city. By far. Food is incredible and the service is always excellent. Any time I bring someone new here they leave as happy and satisfied as I always am. Only downside is that the acoustics in the place aren’t great and can make it really hard to have a conversation without having to talk loudly. But that’s honestly the only thing i can really complain about. Also, if you are Gluten Free, they have the best waffles and plenty of tasty things for you to eat without worry. If you haven’t been here yet, you really are missing out.

So happy to finally try this place out. Had my eye on it and got some during this visit to Van. Amazing breakfast and service. Can’t wait to return many more times. The menu is loaded with must haves. Thanks again BTSG!

Too many tables in a small room. You need to yell to make your partner hear you.

Great food and good service, what more can you ask for in a cozy and hip brunch? Food is Asian fused with west coast minimalistic styling and delicious. Not too expensive (20-30 per person for brunch is spot on)
