Sensational soul food, best coffee in the game, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, plenty of character. All around great and quaint experience.

We went here for brunch on a Saturday and the place was very full. We didnt know how popular this place was so we came at peak hour. Unfortunately we had to stand outside to wait for our table due to limited standing space inside but once we went in things moved pretty quickly. One couple sitting nearby even got a gentle reminder from a server to order as soon as possible since they took too long.We got the shakshuka and the free range eggs they used tasted so much better than what we usually get at the supermarket. It’d be nicer if the eggs were less cooked but the dish overall was very pleasant. The interior is very instagrammable too. If you’re into eclectic decor with local vibes, this is the place for you. However, be aware of the time limit during the weekend.

We were 3 and my friend arrived first but they did not take her in, they said you can sit outside and when your friends arrived we can let you guys in. Then we found a table and sit. We ordered 2 dishes and they forgot one. We ate one dishes and I asked them about the other one and she said sorry we forgot this, can I offer you a Turkish coffee to say sorry? We said yes. And they serviced only 1 Turkish coffee but we were 3 people, I think they forgot this too. This cafe is tiny althought you have to order at safe. They have 5-6 table but service is bad. You should change something.

Best turkish coffee in town, I missed turkish coffee so much so it was perfect for me. I feel like I am home. Eggs benedict with salmon is amazing. The atmosphere is very nice. I will deffinetly come back. Thanks again for best turkish coffee on sand.

Cafe Portrait has a lot going for it. I got the orchid latte ("salep") to drink and it was so good I downed it in 2 minutes flat. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and decor in the restaurant. Not so good was my steak and eggs for lunch. The steak was nearly impossible to chew and I regret that I didn't send it back. Not nearly what you would expect for a $28 meal. My fiance thoroughly enjoyed his eggs benny though. Also, after we were seated we were not told that this restaurant is the kind where you place your order at the counter instead of a server taking your order. We sat waiting at our table for a good 15 minutes before we realized ourselves.

Tiny cozy café with an arty ambiance, great food, and the BEST possible coffee in the entire city. I mean coffee as we call it in Europe, not the overburnt, watery stuff so much adored in the US and Canada. The latter is not a surprise considering that the place is owned by a family with Turkish roots. These guys know how to roast and brew, trust me! Highly recommend.

3/21/2024This was one of my favorite spots during my trip here. It's so cute and cozy. I love the art that is everywhere, even the table tops. The server was a little distracted but nice. My daughter enjoyed a cup of hot chocolate while I had a glass of wine. I wish I had time to take my wife.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere in this cafe today, good service and great music, but unfortunately, the Turkish coffee on the sand was not brewed properly, and half of my coffee cup was coffee grounds. I suggest to the business owner that I can brew the coffee for you once and then comment. I am a barista and a cook. I hope you pay enough attention

Café Portrait offers a delightful breakfast experience with its artistic ambiance and cozy setting. The "Munch Shakshuka" is a flavorful treat, though additional bread may be needed to fully savor the dish.

I love Turkish Cafe at Cafe Portrait. Although the rush hours and busy time affect their services, I enjoy my cafe and my breakfast
