Came here with my aunt and her two young kids (we are Chinese). Having seen poor reviews, we weren't expecting much, but the dinner was surprisingly very good! The service was slow at the beginning even though there were few people there -- even after 10 minutes or so we still hadn't been served water or tea. It was a cold night and the restaurant was also chilly. The server was very friendly and spoke both Chinese and English. The appetizers were fairly good (spicy beef tendon and beef slices). I had the beef rolls (very good) and spicy beef noodles (very good). The dumplings were ok. The scallion pancakes were not very good.At the end, it was close to closing time and she gave us some free mango shaved ice which tasted amazing! Very fluffy with a subtle sweetness. We will return.Parking: parking lot around the corner for the plaza

Great place for noodles and dumplings! Very convenient too. Parking is easy around Wesbrook Village. Downside is that prices have gone up so much. Portions have become less

This was a horrible experience and I really don’t recommend anyone to come here. I ordered a dish of beef that costed $11 and this is what I got. I don’t think theres even much for me to say here, this is just ridiculous at this point. The food was cold and unflavored, it probably was pre-made and stored in the fridge for days. The service was also really bad, it took at least five minutes for them to just notice that I needed the bill. Overall its a 1/10 stars, do not recommend.

Not as good as other ones I visited. The portion were smaller, and felt lacking in flavour. Service was ok, didn't ask I'd we wanted more tea, just okay ready to pay? And it was nor even busy.

Went at a time when there were almost no others at the restaurant. Pretty quiet meal aside from a few shouts by the staff (to each other?), which I think were instructions. Atmosphere was fine, normal restaurant vibes. Decent decor. Nice ceiling lights.Service was fine, although I can see why some might see it as curt. She came by and refilled my tea without being asked, which is more than I can say for many asian restaurants nearby.I ordered A3, and found the portions quite reasonable. The noodles are expensive but I think it's partially "ubc campus tax". They did put quite a bit of beef so I don't feel like the prices are all that unreasonable given the serving size and the location.

Overall, it's a mediocre restaurant. The meat in soup is a bit too salty for my taste, and there are limited seats in a small area.

Awesome service, and the bowl serving is just enough for one person.
Really bad attitide. The waiter threaten us to give them 25% tips or they will call the police.Beef noodles are not worthy of the title of champion. Most important, THEY ARE CHINESE NOT TAIEANESE.Don't bluff people with Taiwanese brands

Think I just went for the last time. As prices have gone up, the quality has not kept pace. To top, service is horrible. I walked in at around 8pm since the place closes at 9pm. As soon as my food arrived, the owner brings over my bill which I didn’t ask for. It was about 8:30pm. She said I need to pay because she’s closing to which I said, “I’m still eating, you wait. Also, why did you let me in then and why do the hours say 9pm?”This was a $20 meal and she must have hoped to make a final quick buck in a few mins.I paid cash and when she looked at the amount, she then had the gull to say the bill doesn’t include a tip. To which I replied, “I know.” Don’t get me started on broken tipping culture which is no longer seen as a bonus of extra good service, but is now some sort of entitlement for just the job.Basically, I don’t feel any need to ever go back again. Nor will I bring the family. How unfortunate for this business which used to be an enjoyment.
