Very good authentic China Beef noodle! We come here all the time, and it's always so delicious! Great service also! The noodles are made perfectly.. and the broth is flavourful!

Good tastes good value for their portions. Dinning area seems clean and dishes were out quick. 5 star of food, average dinning environment, poor service. Hence the 3 star. It could be good for take-outs and a quick lunch but for dinning experiences I won’t recommend. So we ordered a good amount of food and considered ourselves a pretty respectful group of diners. Somehow the waitress who serviced our table, the one with the mask, creeped me out. No smile no hi no bye no thank-you and very strange vibe when she was around. We felt like intruders instead of customers. Hard to describe the feeling when we communicated (worked) with her but we felt the complete opposite of warmth and welcoming. I hate to give it a 3-star but food is not the only thing that matters.

Very good noodles, you can watch the chef make them which is fun. Absolutely bizarre decor though.

These guys deserve way higher ratings, IMO. The chef special noodles are simple, but every ingredient is distinct and fresh. If you’re expecting something super fancy, this isn’t the place. If you just want extreme simplicity well-executed, give this place a shot.

Wow, they’re pretty fast! My son ordered 炸酱面 - braised beef sauce-mixed noodles while I ate 孜然羊肉炒面 - stir-fry cumin-spiced lamb noodles. You order at the entrance (front desk) and go a few steps upstairs to seat yourself anywhere you like. And in one minute food is served!!! Spacious. Large portions. 10mm wide noodle looks cute. If you are a hearty eater, add extra noodle and extra meat. Will come back to try beef noodle.

ok well this might also be the best noodle shop in town except the one time I went there there was a tiny rock in my food, I didn't chip a tooth or anything and I didn't even complain to the staff but that sure was strange, it was otherwise very good though.

Very disappointed from this famous noodle, undercooked, temperature not hot at all, it looks totally different than the one they advertise from the picture. Fried rice is greasy. I still gave 15%, but no way we would go back.

The word ramen comes from lamian and lamian means pulled noodles. The noodles here are actually pulled by hand so it's chewy and the noodle isn't fried like in many ramen places so the noodle absorbs the soup base properly. You also get to choose its width. Broth is as good as you can get on this side of the Pacific.

I had a disappointing experience with overpriced and unfriendly service at this restaurant. I ordered two noodle bowls and two teas, but unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations and we could only manage to eat a small portion of each dish. Despite this, we paid for the meal but chose not to leave a tip. The waitress confronted me aggressively, insisting on a 15% tip. I calmly explained that tipping was not mandatory, especially given the quality of service we had received, but she persisted and wouldn't leave me alone. Concerned for the well-being of my two children, I reluctantly gave her the money, although it was one of the most unsettling experiences I've had in this city so far.

Nice spot in kerrisdale. You can choose the width if your noodles but they also have rice dishes and lamb skewers as well. They did offer breakfast from 8-11 which I do hope to try one day.

Solid and decently filling China (mainland) style noodles place in Kerrisdale.Parking is available on the side streets, as well as some metered spots in front. The dining area is on the 2nd floor, with a flight of stairs. Wheelchair customers beware. The dining room looks almost Japanese, with the blank walls and the light wood trim.Staff were friendly and helpful. This place makes their own noodles. There are several thicknesses available, from 1.2mm to 10mm. One can watch the chef work their magic through the window. Who said this kind of noodle making only happens at fancy places. The lamb skewers are solid. Juicy and covered in cumin. If they weren't so pricey I'd eat 30 of these things in one sitting. The lamb noodles had a decent kick as well, without being insanely spicy. Quite flavourful. The signature dish here is their soup noodles. My friends ordered this thing. Price is good, and the portion is quite large. I will have to come by again and try sometime.Definitely will be back at some point. Recommended.

I went there many times, with friends and family. Unfortunately, the female staff with makeup on has a terrible attitude who at least twice made my companions uncomfortable. Hope you can show sort of kindness to customers. We love the food there.

This has quickly become my go-to spot for taking my friends for lunch or dinner since moving in the kerrisdale area!! I noticed today that they’ve changed their menu since the last time i went, which was a few months ago. But I don’t notice any big price adjustments so it’s all good.As with every time i’ve come here, i ordered their hand pulled noodles with their combo ($19) which also included shredded potatoes and a soft drink. My friend ordered the kung pao chicken and it was bomb as well!!! As I was sitting there with my friend who has also been going to this restaurant for a long time (about 6 years), we noticed that their quality of food is always consistently AMAZING❤️ Their portion is really generous for the price you’re paying. And I also like how you can see the chef actually hand-pulling the noodles and stir-frying???your dishes right through the glass window inside the store. It’s pretty cool and nice to see your food being made fresh right in front of your seats? But anyway, I would definitely recommend anyone to try out this restaurant!! They have so many variety of chinese food in there that i’m making a promise to myself i’m gna try something else next time i go??but yes, 10/10 recommend this restaurant!!!??(lowkey i would definitely want to try the lamb skewers next time i go?)
