I used to always go for bread in the morning, there was always a very friendly and cheerful woman, always let me in with a small spitz, as we always take with us, now the girl who works, absolutely not friendly, fundamentally does not sell bread with her, what cafe do you have? And there are tables and I will sit there with the dog? I want to take your bread with me, I bring you money, I go to an empty place on a weekday and I am denied purchase. In principle, I will not go in again, and I will not bring money to a place where I am not welcome. It's a pity that the women who worked there don't work anymore.

I usually love picking up from Cobs but for some reason whenever I go for sweet rolls at this particular location, they NEVER have icing on them. What's the point of cinnamon buns with no icing?!?

I love buying bread from this bakery. It is not in walking distance from where I live but I always make an excuse to walk there and buy bread and delicious scones. Triple chocolate scones are the best.

In my year and a half of patronizing Cobs Bakery, I've generally been satisfied with their products. However, my recent experience with two types of baguettes was disappointing. They seemed old, and the taste was off-putting, making it difficult for me to enjoy them.

We went to Cobs Bread on Robson Street in Vancouver. It was happenstance because we were staying just a few short blocks away, walking and looking for breakfast treats for the next morning. Oh my, their selection is awesome, including those with fresh fruit. We bought more than we could eat because it looked so good. It tasted good so we went back 2 more times. What a find!
We came by chance and received a recommendation for a peach scone and then we came back the next day as well. Everything is so fresh and delicious, highly recommended bakery.

The cinnamon bun (with icing) we had this morning (17 July) was okay but nothing special at all. Will continue to look for a GREAT cinnamon bun in Vancouver……this was not it!

I live in a subsidized senior centre a block and a half from Cobb's. Once a week, the centre hands out Cobb's bread, buns and yums at no cost. I'm assuming these are donated as aging inventory for aging us. HUGELY appreciated! Now for the 5-star part, I thought if the days-old inventory tasted this good, I should splurge and buy some fresh.Results:a) OMG! Delicious! Cinnamon chip bread & 3 peach scones.b) not much of a splurge, in fact very reasonable.I shall return!
