Food is good but portions do NOT reflect its price. Octopus was $42 for less than 1 pound of octopus! (Shown in image) Drinks are $15+. I enjoyed the eggplant but food is way too pricey for what it is. The restaurant is really small and washrooms are right by the bar. Like less than 6ft away from it.

Watch out for this place, they are very misleading in their communication.I’ve booked a table in the evening, in the next day I received a text messaging asking to confirm or cancel my reservation. I wasn’t 100% sure I could make so I cancel it. The message never mentioned anything about cancellation fee, only asked me to confirm the reservation. Turns out, they will send you texts asking if you wanna cancel it, if you do, they will wait a day or two and then charge you the cancellation fee.See screenshot.

This is one of my absolute favourite spots in Vancouver. I travelled through Portugal and tried cod croquettes everywhere there and never found any I liked better than the ones at Como. Grateful to have this little gem of a restaurant in our neighborhood!

We went to celebrate my husband's b'day, first time we'd been and it was fabulous. We ordered a white house wine to start and a beautiful red to go with dinner. Ordered maybe 8 tapas and enjoyed each and every one of them. The olives stuffed with anchovies were the best I've eaten. We spent more money than normal as it was a celebration dinner but being there for happy hour makes it very affordable.

One of the best tapa places we've been to in Vancouver. Good food, nice ambience, and great staff! We're definitely coming back. Highly recommended!! And Shoutout to chef Raphael! Cakes were amazing too!??

Como Taperia is a great spot for a group of friends looking to grab small bites with a decent drink selection.Everything in the menu has never failed to impress but when considering the price and portioning this place is actually quite expensive. While I understand it’s a taperia and the portions reflect that, the pricing makes it a very hard place to really enjoy without feeling like you might have been going elsewhere for a more satisfying meal.

Arrived at 6:15 asked to be put on the list and was told 1.5 hours which was fine; we had no reso. Checked back and was told another 45minutes. Went back and was told no table until well after 10. Asked for a reservation in a couple weeks and they asked me for a credit card. I get why but don’t expect them to care much about customer service or their own mistakes. The food is ok (been before) but there is much better on Main. Not recommended.

It was difficult to make a reservation, so I went as a walk-in at 4:30. When I first went in, no one cared about me, and I had to wait about 5 minutes before I could put my name on the waiting list. They said they would be available around 6, so we waited, but no call. We went again there around 6:30, and there was a table at the bar and asked if we wanted to sit. I'm a person who prefers bar seating, so the seating was okay, but their attitude was not good. The atmosphere was nice, but honestly, I don't think the taste was worth waiting for over 2 hours to eat.

Not the best tapas I had but still decently good. Fried eggplants was so good. Very energetic vibe and comfortable environment. If not that crowded and loud, it'll be perfect for us.

The menu is not very varied but the food is very delicious. The plates are small so if you want to have dinner you have to order a few. Don't expect Spanish prices, but it's understandable because we're in Vancouver ;) The kids loved the burgers :)

The food on their taste our travels menu has good flavor but was too salty in my opinion. The dessert had decent flavor but was only decent, nothing special. The service was superb. The atmosphere was good except the music was slightly too loud for my taste but that's just a personal preference.

This small Spanish tapas gem combines inviting vibes with a delectable array of Spanish eats. Highlights include anchovy-stuffed olives, fried eggplant and authentic Spanish canned seafood conservas. The cozy ambiance and the family share style makes it the perfect spot for an authentic and delightful Spanish culinary experience. Will return again for their Happy Hour!
