I was in driving past here today and saw the chef literally run out of the restaurant waving a KNIFE and hoark a giant oyster loogie at the car in front of me.If he does this in public, makes me wonder what he does to the food ?!?! Won’t be back here.

I had been eager to try out this establishment, given its proximity to my residence. However, upon browsing through some of the negative reviews and witnessing the owner's responses, my enthusiasm waned. I was taken aback by the unprofessionalism displayed in certain interactions, where it seemed as though customers were being threatened or belittled. As someone who values courteous and respectful service, I found this behavior deeply disturbing. It's disheartening to see such conduct tarnish what could otherwise be a promising dining experience.

Good food and fresh tasting fish. Love the grilled calamari. However, why does this place seem to be closed more often than it is open? Call ahead if you’re planning to eat here just to make sure they haven’t decided to take a random off day.

I'm not editing this review, rather updating it. We were looking so forward to our meal last night but while inspecting the menu board noticed the large Israeli flag on the window. I turned to my partner and said, "We can't stay." We asked the server why it was displayed and she told us it came from the owner. We left and while we wee still standing in the doorway, the owner came bellowing out, yelling what was wrong? When I asked where the Palestinian flag was, he yelled "F---- the Palestinians. F--- you!" Woulld he eat in an establishment flying the swastika? Sad to see so much hate on display. The Fish Cafe had been one of our favourite restaurants but we will never return.Our first indoor restaurant meal since Covid and we chose to have it here. Good decision, excellent meal as always. Our only disappointment was that they were out of calamari. But the crab cake made a good substitute.

My visit to fish cafe was extremely disappointing. The food quality was poor, and the atmosphere was unpleasant. Encountering racism anywhere is unacceptable. Additionally, the practice of paying for fake reviews is unethical. I suggest avoiding this cafe.

Edit: Why did the owner respond to me like that? This was a honest review, is this kitchen ran by 18 year olds?It was ok, not worth the price tag tbh.
